I believe that this all started when Hillary gave the Russian president the mistranslated “reset button”...like, the State Department couldn’t find ONE competent Russian speaker...and, it’s been all downhill from there. Really, Carter and his team look like organizational geniuses at this point.
Plus don’t forget the reset button itself was a childishly stupid idea.
