Unruly Commoners Refuse to Stand for Obama

COMMONERS

President Obama went for a walk last week, and even mingled with some commoners beyond the White House walls. The “surprise” occasion was (shockingly) captured on camera and widely disseminated; the White House posted the “raw video” here.

Most of the commoners were thrilled to encounter the president walking amongst them. One woman was “so excited,” and remarked that it was “like the best day of my life.” One bro fist pumped while yelling: “America! Freedom! Peace! Hope! And charity! [sic]”

But not everyone was so impressed. At the 2:41 mark, you can see some disgruntled workers who are unable to get in their cars and drive home due to Obama’s security entourage. And at 0:40 we see a couple that couldn’t even be bothered to stand to greet the president.

I think I would have to just turn and walk away.

Couldn’t trust myself, not to tell him that he is a treasonous blight upon America, the likes of which we have never seen, and that I pray we survive.

Is it wrong that writing those words, makes me wish I had the opportunity though?

I’ve given some thought now going on “years” as to what I would do if confronted face to face by Obama with him extending his hand. Would I be a hypocrite and gutless and just shake his hand and smile?

Answer still coming back to me is...... “I don’t know.”

Most likely, you would. And so would I. It's a conditioned response among well-bred people to shake a hand that's offered, regardless of what we think of the person extending it. Shaking Obama's hand would disgust me, but I fear that I would do it anyway.

This reminds me of a passage in "The Caine Mutiny" (the book, not the movie), where Lt. Keith had wrestled with exactly the same question in regards to the despised Captain Queeg. It turned out that Queeg did indeed unexpectedly offer his hand at one point . . . and Keith sheepishly shook it.

Also indicates a general decline in manners and civility in our culture.

At one time everybody could be counted on to stand, shake the President’s hand and greet him politely, no matter how big a putz he was.

It’s the same thing that is responsible for all of the slovenly dress out there.

I would have given him my famous “wave.” I would have given him my twin fisted, middle finger wave, a greeting and source of expression that this ahole often uses in photos, i.e. the using of his middle finger to scratch the side of his nose or his face, when he thinks no one knows what he's REALLY signifying by use of his middle finger.

Or I could ask him how Reggie's doing and when they're going to hook up again!

I would stand up for that. I would tell him he has squandered a good part of this country’s future and that I teach my sons what a useless president he’s been. Yes, I would.

You could never be in that position unless you agreed to it beforehand, it is so obviously prestaged and it would probably be made clear that you WILL be reasonably cordial or else. Only a naive person believes that this was just a casual stroll out to speak to strangers as it is made to appear. The people who didn’t stand up were told ahead of time to keep their seats to make it seem that they felt as comfortable as if their oldest and dearest friend had strolled up. It is all theatre, nothing more nor less.

I suffered through 3 minutes of Obama’s face and some of his words. I feel ill, disgusted, nauseous, ashamed, angry, embarrassed (that this FOOL, POS, is president).

I feel sad, for my country, knowing that we will never be rid of this guy. Whomever the next president is, on every issue of the day, the sycophant press will run to Obama so that he can undermine everything the current president has said or proposes.

“If I were still president ....Blah, Blah, Blah, and frickin Blah.”

“When I was president, ....Blah, Blah, Blah, and frickin Blah.”

“Under MY administration we ....Blah, Blah, Blah, and frickin Blah.”

“If you ask me, and you have, I would ....Blah, Blah, Blah, and frickin Blah.”

He still remembers he grandfather’s ceremony, the flag, taps, he still gets choked up. I wonder if he held his crotch during the national anthem back then too.

Only in a thoroughly post-biblical culture would someone name their kid Korah.
Num 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

I once told someone I would not even cross the street to meet him. I remember the person was surprised by that. And then I see these fools literally running over to fawn over him. Thesis jus campaigning, folks. More campaigning. The only thing he is good at.
