RESIDENTS have been evacuated amid fears of another explosion after a man suffered horrific injuries when his car blew up in his driveway in Melbourne’s north.
It is believed a device located underneath a car caused the blast.
The man was starting the ignition when it exploded just after 9am, leaving him with serious injuries to his legs.

“When we were evacuated by police they told me all the bombs might not have gone off,” neighbour Kylie Gray said.

Ms Gray said she rushed out of her home and saw the injured man on the street. She said he was in intense pain and screaming in a foreign language.

Obviously it's too early for any official conclusions, but I think it is reasonable to point out that Dallas has a very significant Muslim population (a large proportion of the residents are of Turkish descent) and Kiewa Crescent is about half a mile from one of Melbourne's largest mosques.
I am not saying these things are connected. I hope they are not. I really don't want extreme Islam in my community, and I know a lot of good decent Muslims who live around here who would be just as appalled as I am at that idea. But I'm not going to shy away from mentioning potentially relevant facts.
That's certainly what we need.
It’s possible that this was an accident. Or that the driver was a victim of someone who planted bombs under his car.
But I must say, I think the likeliest explanation is that this was a “workplace accident.”
Especially when you add that little bit about him “screaming in a foreign language.”
Will the police cover it up? Will they release the victim’s name? Let’s wait and see.
And I’m an idiot. I’ve just realised what else is right near this location. It’s also less than half a mile from an Army barracks - HQ of the 4th Combat Service Support Battalion.

Yup, just as soon as the Social Security Swat Team investigation “to get all the facts” is completed and the English and Muslim reports are also completed by the DOJ, or after the November Elections, whichever comes last.
Obama DID order a report just as soon as he read about this example of Workplace Violence in the newspaper, - - - - didn’t he?
Hopefully, he added the White House Focus Groups approved phrase: “I am very angry.” or maybe: “I will get to the bottom of this.” or my personal favorite: “We must make sure that this never happens again.”

Appalled perhaps that the victim wasn’t a Jew or Christian or more likely they don’t understand their own religion.
