President Barack Obama received a chilly reception for his warnings against the alleged dangers of climate change during his address at West Point Wednesday.
The cadets exhibited little warmth in applauding their Commander in Chief, which should come as little shock when considering the actual dangers these American soldiers will face upon graduating.
The Commander in Chief took the time to warn of the so-called dangers of global warming, urging the cadets to “make commitments to combat climate change.”
Our troops, many of whom lay down their lives each and every day to protect the individual freedoms of every American, were being told that they weren’t doing enough.

My tv is programmed to turn the channel if he comes on. So I won’t get to see him throw a baseball. (But I won’t criticize his baseball spazziness. I’m probably almost as bad in that department. Ha! ).
The Cadets did not quite cross the line into open disrespect, but it is phenomenally obvious that they value duty, honor, and country - and don’t see the same values in the speaker. Obama pauses for a number of applause lines that fall flat and for a few that are obviously there to make the cadets applaud, tepidly but better than for Obama’s distasteful real message, and in the dreams of the speechwriter to break the ice.
Come come now. Putin must totally respect admire and venerate O. ( I bet Putin has a beautiful picture of O right over his toilet )
If history is written by sane men and women, our shame and embarrassment as a nation — under this puke’s “leadership” — will echo down through the ages. (But it probably won’t be. And Obama will probably be canonized in the “history” books of the future.)

I posted this on an earlier thread. President Bush at West Point. Amazing though - as soon as he said “thank you, please sit down” it was SILENT!
Also - about 5 minutes long for the entire thing. And it was mostly about the cadets, thanking them, etc. (20 seconds or so on new policies, etc.)
