Members of the Republican-led Benghazi select committee are getting down to work, with the first order of business a detailed timeline of the attack.
But it already is apparent to some committee members that previous investigations, including the State Department review known as the Accountability Review Board, were not as exhaustive as the administration claimed.
"If you go look at the other reports that were done, whether it be the Accountability Review Board or the Senate case (last January’s intelligence committee report), there are places where they have enough details but many, many gaps in the fact pattern," Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., a West Point graduate who sits on the Benghazi select committee, told Fox News.
"We still don't have all of the facts that surrounded the events of that night. Did the Department of Defense speak to the State Department? Did the State Department have good contacts with our intelligence operations folks?Where was the White House and its National Security staff, that entire team that's responsible?"
A detailed timeline breaks down into three phases, including the well- documented, severe threat environment before the attack as well as the security requests from U.S. personnel in Libya that were denied by the State Department.
"We're going to start from the events that led up to the enormous security failure, and the run-up to September 11, 2012 and then we'll look at the events of that evening, the deaths of four Americans and what could have been done to potentially rescue or at least make an effort as America always has done,” Pompeo said.

Where did the CIA agents come from and disappear to after the fiasco? Any connection to the outed one?
Another question that needs to be asked is where is / are the video(s) from the UAVs? They had to have overhead assets in place before, during, and after the attack.
Is it correct that it took over two weeks after 9/11/12 to put American assets into the destroyed embassy? Why is that?
Is it correct that CNN located and interviewed one of the perps? Has NSA figured out how CNN’s intel is better than CIA’s?

The timeline will be critical.
With today’s computer wizards, I would start building a visual record of what was going on at the same time at several locations. A sort of “bug on the wall” showing events and non-events at critical places. A documentary, if you will. Set it up so that several projectors could run at once. Say one for The Situation Room.....one for the CIA building.....one for the compound where the Ambassador was......etc.....
If they throw out a huge, convoluted timeline on paper, the American people won’t understand it. Use computer generated imagery and make it something the American people can understand.
And protect it! The Democrats are scared to death of this and they will do anything, anything, to mess it up.
Has anyone seen a date for the committee to convene?
Those are all good questions, but based on my sources, I have others.
What were the rules of engagement for the Diplomatic Security Officer traveling with the Ambassador and stationed in Benghazi? Did the DS people actually fire their weapons in defense before the relief mission arrived from the Annex?
Were any of the DS people trained or equipped to communicate with a Military Relief Mission?
I was told by contacts that the State Dept. did not want to have any former military people in the DS in Benghazi. I was also told that the State Dept. shipped booze into Benghazi for the staff..were all the DS people sober the night of the attack?
For the millionth time,it WAS NOT a CONSULATE!
NEXT will someone ask the question WHY the ambassador was in Benghazi, a hotbed of terrorist activity,while the British had pulled out,the American red cross had pulled out.
I want the question Rand Paul asked of Hillary when she testified before the Senate,Were guns and so called moderate jihadists being run to Syria through Turkey to depose Assad,the same jihadists who had just come from killing and maiming Americans?
If what this guy says is only going to investigate what we already know,then this will be a total waste of time

Convene? If they are drawing up a timeline they are already working. Since this is not coming from Gowdy but another member of the team its either his assignment or they are already working in pods to be combined later
CIA knows they just want to keep it quiet. Don’t rule out that CNN “reporter” may be a cover for CIA agent.
CIA WILL probably come forward I think after the OUTING of their agent

My thought when the agent in Afganistan was outed was that it was NOT an accident. On the communist play list of taking over a community or a country the first thing on the agenda is to make an example of the leaders in front of underlings so they will be intimidated and not cause problems
It may be that he’d been asking questions or relaying concerns like the ambassador had. Elimination of those who question dear leader is SOP
If elimination is not complete removal of power is sufficient Gowdy and/or another committee needs to question agents quietly immediately

become politicized!!!! I hope the CIA has HAD ENOUGH they KNOW
