Breitbart ^ | 28 May 2014

Wednesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) talking with "Radio Liberty" on Radio Free Europe said America must stand against Russia's "acts of war" in Ukraine. Cruz said the United States should give the Ukrainian people "the tools and equipment necessary to defend themselves." The Texas junior senator also said it's time to install anti-ballistic missiles in Eastern Europe now and eventually in the Ukraine.

Cruz's call for an Eastern Europe missile-defense system is similar to a proposal by President George W. Bush as a deterrent to Russian President Vladimir Putin's aggression in Georgia in 2008. Bush's plan was abandon by President Barack Obama in 2009...

Is that what fear and defeat looks like?
Any reaction to Russia’s aggression by America and NATO means that Putin declares “War” on the West?

Is that Putin launching nuclear war on all the nations of NATO and America, and the free world?

"Cruz needs to leave foreign policy alone, he hasn’t a clue.

I like Cruz, but foreign policy is not his strong suit.

Weird isn’t it? Yet it is real, I don’t know how to write about it, or describe it, or define it, or how to make it real to those of us who ‘kind of know, but don’t know’, our first nuclear war, and it is not truly on the books yet.

Foreign policy is a strong point for him, I have yet to see a weakness.

After Rand Paul and Barack Obama, thank God we have a Reagan in the 2016 lineup.

Does US have the gumption and glue to put it back together again or at least keep it from falling apart worse?

Duh-1, the great uniter, has done more to fracture and Balkanize America than anyone in the past, along so many different planes.

How in the world could he do anything to unite the Ukraine if he can't refrain from driving wedges between virtually every group in American and everyone else?

That is because you are not very bright.

Cruz wanted to invade Syria, Cruz wanted to end aid to Egypt after the Egyptian military over threw the Muslim Brotherhood. Now Cruz wants to risk war with Russia over the Crimea? Really? The Crimea has been Russian since Catherine the Great (1783). The Russians took it from the Ottoman Empire (Islam) to stop the Ottomans from selling Russians into slavery. Russia will go to the mat over the Crimea.

I like Cruz, he is one of our best in the Senate but went it comes to foreign policy he needs work harder on getting it right.

Well, as sweet as your remarks about me were, I would like to see your sources for of all that.

I’m not aware of you ever bringing anything honest to a discussion.

Perhaps stubborn, but certainly not a dim bulb.

>> Why the hell does this guy want a war with Putin?

“This guy” being Cruz?

I respect Russia’s capabilities, but there would be no war.

Keep in mind, Russia’s stability is important to China, and China depends on the US dollar, so... well... it probably wouldn’t be unreasonable for the US to make an effort for Ukraine’s independence.
