This is not Detroit.

Instead of getting off on this sort of thing like a bunch of perverted liberals touching themselves over the latest gun crime, you might open your eyes and admit that the same is happening all across the country.

There are virtually abandoned mill villages scattered across NC and the south. The urban areas are mostly doing well. The rural communities not so much, and some have collapsed. Trade policy made it possible.

That first photo, is it palmer woods? the reason I ask is I’ve been in palmer woods and it is indeed as beautiful as it looks. But, as good as it looks you still don’t dare hang out outside there after hours. Just an observation.

While it pisses me off, I have to laugh at all the Detroit haters who are absolutely clueless as to what is going on in Detroit. If I was in my 20's or 30's and had the cash, I'd be buying up properties on Detroit's near east side as fast as I could afford them.

Mega $$$ investors are doing just that and these are folks who know exactly what they're doing and don't throw their money away on whims.

I have a black friend who was a diemaker at my plant on Connor and Charlevoix. He and his wife also had 5 hair studios around the city and he and his family have a suite at Cobo arena............

Following the closing of our plant in Dec. of 2006, he bought a building down on Griswold.........

Here's Larry's new hobby.......
