People are tired of hearing MSM propaganda. They think people are too stupid to know that they’re being fed lies and propaganda material...
Maybe I’m splitting hairs, but I wouldn’t put it that way. People want to know the news, and if Fox is the only one reporting it, they’ll watch Fox.
CNN will not be shamed into doing real news.
More people go to a local Metallica concert than watch CNN.
While this is good news on the face of it, the problem remains: many more people vote than watch cable news.
The coastal based, bias gate keepers, for entertainment still trend left.
I am happy to see Erin Burnett is the highest rated show on CNN. Every now and then I watch Erin Burnett, she is a real journalist, not a propagandist.
There are people on youtube who regularly post videos that are viewed by more people than the shows on CNN.
CNN- worth less than many youtube channels. Soon the advertisers will figure it all out.
“CNN will not be shamed into doing real news.”
Perhaps not, but the loss of advertising revenue could simply make them liquidate right out of existence. When the critical mass of advertisers decide their investments in advertising at CNN and MSNBC are ineffective and/or seriously counter-productive to their advertising campaigns, those broadcast networks will shrivel up and die for lack of money. Unhappy viewers can accelerate the demise of those broadcasters by letting the advertisiers know why the consumer is not buying the products and services advertised on those networks.
Even though most Fox viewers don’t count for advertisers (they average over 65 and advertisers only pay for 18-55), the good news is our votes count even if our eyeballs don’t.
BTW, most CNN and MSNBC viewers are also outside the demo, but not as high a percentage as Fox.
To SOuth40:
“.....people are too stupid to know that theyre being fed lies and propaganda material...”..
Unfortunately they are. Why do you think odumbo got re-elected?
They may be tired of it, but they’re still falling for it.
If some Lib motel operators in little Lib college towns like Brookings, SD did not restrict the “news” channels to these two, there would not be this much viewership.
The age of everyone who regularly watches new programs is on the high end of the scale. Those under 40 rarely watch any news.
That is why the Demoncrap voter base is so uninformed.
If you run the numbers FOX still has more 18-55 than the others.
Excellent point..
I have a boatload of nephews and nieces in their twenties, college educated for the most part, and they believe some of the most idiotic things you can imagine...
If you have any liberal friends, even older ones, you will notice they seldom watch the news. They just aren’t interested beyond SoundBits.
I actually have liberal friends...most think the "Jon Stewart" show is news...
They even use him to support their political positions
...on Wednesday CNNs Anderson Cooper 360 had just 269,000 viewers
They’re probably counting all the people sitting in airports around the country within 100 ft of their indoctrination devices.
