Amid jubilation Saturday over the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from captivity by the Taliban, senior Republicans on Capitol Hill said they were troubled by the means by which it was accomplished, which was a deal to release five Afghan detainees from the military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

If this doesn’t fire up the people who give a damn in this country then we deserve the consequences...

Look, this is all about refurbishing Obama's reputation after the VA scandal. Future repercussions of this deal do not matter. All that matters is Obama.

Everyone else here - the POW, his family, the released terrorists, the future victims of the released terrorists - they are all just bit players in the great Obama drama.

>A senior administration official, agreeing to speak on the condition of anonymity to explain the timing of the congressional notification, acknowledged that the law was not followed. When he signed the law last year, Obama issued a signing statement contending that the notification requirement was an unconstitutional infringement on his powers as commander in chief and that he therefore could override it.

If the jive turkey didn't intend to follow the law he shouldn't signed in the first place. Any law abiding congressman or senator refrain allowing any bill to get to this White house. There is no guarantee it would be adhered to by the current president.

“....went so far as to accuse President Obama of having broken the law....”

.
Does that mean that they are going to prosecute Bambi or just frown at him?

Silly Republicans!

Obama isn't negotiating with terrorists.

He's negotiating with fellow Muslims...

Top Republicans on the Senate and House armed services committees went so far as to accuse President Obama of having broken the law, which requires the administration to notify Congress before any transfers from Guantanamo are carried out.

Yeah, what's GOP-e gonna do about it, other than put their underwear on backwards to give King "Man's Country" better access?

Political blitzkrieg., We rush to investigate an issue and get clobbered by a new one.

Is there a way to file an injunction on a cease and desist of the rule?

Laws ? zer0 don’t follow no stinking laws, he makes it up as he goes along.

Nobody challenges him, they are all afraid of the skinny half white bully !

He’s been walking the halls stealing lunch money, knocking books out of people’s arms since he got here. Even guys bigger than him are scared.

Notice how the liberal media spins it as only a "republican concern"

Visualize an honest press in this country.

This should concern EVERY American.

There is a word for someone who thinks like that. I'll let you fill it in.

Looks like Bergdahl’s father is a muzzie sympathizer... He tweeted that he was working to free all Gitmo prisoners, then went on to say that God would repay for the death of every Afghan child.

“”Can we NOW call this treason and the man a traitor.””

Boy, I do not know if “we” can but I sure can and have been.

Laws what laws? This TIC, Traitor is Chief, has always been their and announced from day one where is sympathy lies and this is with the barbarian Muslims.

Odinga, the TIC, will follow the winds of change to make sure his Muzzie brothers get released back into the fight and that all infidels die

No more special meetings in congress. Just arrest, try, convict and when found guilty, execute for being a traitor. Him and all of his administration that have been involved in wrecking America and killing Americans.

Time to bring this to and END, period.

IMO this has gone on long enough and the weeds of America need mowing.
