FBI spokesman Peter Lee said agents did not know if suspect Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II, 42, is carrying explosives, but he is considered armed and dangerous. Chamberlain is likely driving a white Nissan Altima with either California or Texas license plates 7FQY085 and BX9M042 respectively, Lee said.
Chamberlain is 6-foot-3 and weighs 223 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, Lee said. Authorities said anyone who encounters him should call 911 rather than approach him.
Lee said agents believe Chamberlain was acting alone. Authorities declined to describe the type of explosives found at the apartment. Nor did they state why the suspect may have amassed the material, saying the investigation is still under way.

Contrary to some media reports, authorities did not find any ricin or other chemical or biological threats in the residence.

And they were so sure it was ricin!
Sheesh...
FReepers called that one BOGUS right from the start. Dude looks like my brother-in-law!
He’s wearing a hoodie, he can’t be dangerous.
I’m thinking he sent Barry some hate mail.
The links have followed have left me more confused than before began research. Back to basic question of what did this guy do to make radar? Am finding nothing ... no known threats issued. No bodies. No nothing.
He’s an arrowhead collector?
He bought raw milk?
Maybe he’s a rodeo clown or plumber?
Maybe he was just a prepper and everything is actually legal. Maybe he makes his own bullets. I'll wait to hear more before I "sentence" this guy.
(Remember Ruby Ridge and Waco?)
They went in for riacin, so it sounds like MAYBE they wanted this guy for other reasons. I think I'll wait this one out before making a judgement.
Must have figured out he’s a committed lefty so they killed that story. If he could have been tied to the right they would have hauled ricin in by the truckload.
My bet is they found a pressure cooker in his kitchen.
Ben, if you keep a ping list I would like to be pinged if anything surfaces. I will do the same for you. So far everything is under seal from as best as can determine from the links viewed. No additional information have I found. Affidavit and Warrant are sealed per reports. Makes no sense, thus far, how this guy wound up on the radar.
KGO said the amount of ricin found is the largest ever seen before in the city.
Tests will be conducted to confirm that the substance is ricin.
The ABC affiliate said investigators in hazmat suits entered the apartment and made the discovery.
so...why would KGO put out the ricin story? who came up with 'ricin' ? Was there no ricin after there was ricin?
one thing for sure, there's some fishy qualities to this
AP headline is calling this person an explosives expert. Yesterday he was a ricin expert. Strange.
Yeah. It sort of sounds like they're after him for some other reason. I wonder what's up with this guy.
Can’t figure this one out. More information is going to be necessary to figure out what is going on. Have been on a constant search since saw the thread and everything is sealed and not viewable.
Have a request Nachum. Would you ping your list to this thread, please?
last two ricin cases:
May 29: Federal Charges http://www.fresnobee.com/2014/05/29/3950266/nyc-pharmacist-admits-to-trying.html
May 17-29 State and Federal. http://www.fresnobee.com/2014/05/27/3946782/sender-of-ricin-letters-sentenced.html
Not sure if there’s a connect there, but the May 29th case in NJ is interesting in that they are charging him with obtaining materials thru an online auction. Perhaps there’s a link there?
Except now the theme has changed to guns and explosives and ‘extremely dangerous’. Either somebody rolled or gaydude isn’t who he seems to be and needed to go ghost fast with a believable cover. imo
The list, Ping
