I don't have much contact with the MSM, but I did catch the story about the Hero's welcome on the car radio.

The story continued with a few Republicans complaining about the non-notification lawbreaking.

The story concluded with Susan Rice explaining that there was only a small window to act swiftly to save the Hero's life and health. It sure spun those uncaring Republicans into sour grapes unwilling to give the Administration any credit for saving an American soldier.

Perhaps the Hero has a future as a United States Senator, and even Secretary of State.

Meanwhile, those traded for this guy are already plotting their next terrorist action, while the released prisoner will likely be fitting himself for a suicide vest for this celebration.

The NY Times is just awesome. No matter how much the political situation changes and distorts, they will bitterly cling to the Administration's intended messaging.
