The February announcement that Arsenio Halls syndicated late-night show would return for a second season turned out to be both premature and mistaken. CBS Television Distribution, which owns the show with Tribune Media, has announced a cancellation because of a ratings decline among the viewers most advertisers pay for in late night, people between the ages of 18 and 49.

thank God....hopefully they return to Seinfeld reruns at night...
Arsenio who?....................
Excellent episode of “Turn” last night. The British started a witch hunt for rebel spies among the loyalists, rounded up all the guns, built gallows in the middle of town, and started dragging people from their homes in the middle of the night.

Things that make you go “Hmmm”
Next Sunday is the season Finale. Jame Riley wrote a a great critique of the show. We need more historically based TV like this.

I think Arsenio has already had his big moment back in the 1990’s. Neither he or his pal Eddie Murphy have kicked up much dust since then. Arsenio had gotten into only having black guests on for most of the time.

Yes, I like the review. I bookmarked the program and will be going back later today to watch some of it on my 3D TV. Can’t wait...
Thank you.
It’s obvious that his viewers didn’t desert him because they had to get up early to go to work or anything.
You really need to watch from the beginning to get an idea of what’s going on. After all the show is about deception so little is as it seems.
No Sexist, homophobic. I think he should ask all of the gay community why they did not support a broth................,er sister in arms.

Flipped through channels available via non-cable. Most are Spanish, focus on gay lifestyle or have Black actors/actresses/hosts.
Except for Tuesday evening when NCIS and Person of Interest are on and an occasional Castle, not much need to have TV any more.
” not much need to have TV any more.”

PBS has some marvelous shows. “Inspector Banks”,”Inspector Goerge Gentley”,”Call the Midwife”,and “The Bletchley Circle”.
.
I think, it’s the unintended consequence of this constant drumming coming from the white House and his media about race.
It’s now become nothing more than preaching to the choir...the black choir.
