There looks like there is still a harborful of fog here. The reasons for some crashes and what the airbags did don’t agree between multiple studies.
Maybe it could be, in part, an “itty bitty car” problem. With the rage to go green with absurdly high gas mileage requirements, comes cars that are as durable as sardine cans.
