NEW YORK -- A man with a kitchen knife stabbed two young children, one fatally, in an elevator in a New York City apartment building on Sunday evening, police said.
Police found Prince Joshua Avitto, 6, and a 7-year-old girl with stab wounds to their torsos at the building in Brooklyn's East New York neighborhood after responding to a 911 call.
Avitto is the cousin of Chicago Bulls power forward Taj Gibson, WGN-TV reported.

How sad this is, how young these kids were!
It is clear to see more everyday that Satan is indeed running loose on earth. How else can you explain these things. Poor kids, they did not have a chance.
The devil has always been doing that, but because people let themselves get estranged from God, they have given more room to the devil lately.

I know this is not the fault of God, far from it, it is the work of Satan, it is just that I seem to be seeing more of it these days, and I cannot help but think that perhaps it has something to do with the general attitude of society in this day and age.
May the perp be caught quickly. Prayers said for these two children and their families. I wish someone had been present with these children and had been able to protect them. Very disheartening to read a story as this one.
Well what I mean is it is our fault for not even caring about salvation. This is how it ends when people get to thinking that science and the like is the be all and end all of life. Bread, circuses, and test tubes, I suppose.
Was the killer on some random rampage? Or did he (or someone who hired him) specifically want those children gone?

Last month I saw a video of a punk walk up behind a 68 year old Asian man, smash him in the face then stomp on his head killing him, then congratulate himself like he just scored a touchdown - bumping his fists together. People thought he was probably a nut, I said no, he’s just one more punk ass who regularly goes through the revolving door of justice thanks to liberals, probably out on parole, and sure enough he was - black guy out on parole for armed robbery AND drug dealing. His excuse was he was “trying to rob” the Asian man but most likely was high on drugs and thought he would have some “fun”.

And this is a city that refuses to allow people to defend themselves which is why I moved 2 years ago, and I grew up there. Absolutely the worst city in this country, hands down.
