A gunman fired into a crowd at a South Shore strip mall Monday night, striking two teenagers and four adults, according to police....
For Tamesha Ginn, a lifelong South Shore resident who heard the gunfire from her porch, the shooting reflected changes her neighborhood has gone through in the years since her childhood.

That doesn't follow from anything I've posted, and for the record I don't agree.
Have anything to say about anything I have posted?
When everything is about drugs, drugs, drugs to some people
I've posted on many other topics.
it becomes obvious
Whatever inferences you may think are "obvious" are negated when I explicitly state the opposite, as I have done.
Have anything to say about anything I've actually posted?
False analogy: drug sale and use involve only consenting adults, while the latter acts do not.
both of which libertardians would see as tyranny too I guess.
I have no idea - go argue with them.
“only consenting adults”
right. That comes later: “Age of Consent is tyranny!!”
As I told you, you and I disagree with the Libertopians on those points.
Have anything to say about anything I've posted?
not having hard drugs destroys the soul??
Wow. you're dense.
And reaching.
That's all you've got?
I'm surprised you haven't accused me of being a meth head yet.
You're 'arguing' like a liberal.
For the enablers of the police state, it's win-win. They get to destroy the republic, and make plenty of cash while doing so.
The prime example of Abuse is the Patriot act, couple that with Drug laws
and you have Tyranny kicking in doors to kill millions at any moment.
I'm kinda with you on that, but the problem is, the Constitution simply doesn't allow them to do most of what they've been doing for years. No knock warrants for anything outside of a direct known immediate threat to the lives of others is an anathema to our way of life. At least it was until we allowed the war on drugs, and now combining it, as you said with the war on terrorism, and you have a situation where there is just simply no way it will not be abused.
The answer is to simply not give them tools they can abuse unless there is just simply no other way to maintain the republic withouit it. Maintaining the Republic does not mean things that merely interfere with police being able to do their job as efficiently as possible. It does not mean you can (or even desire to) eliminate risk. Life itself is a risky proposition. Has been since the dawn of time.
We have greatly and tragically erred in giving far too much power to government at all levels.
Personally I think we're too far gone down the road to democracy for us to be able to do anything about the ultimate, grinding tyranny to come. The sad thing to me, is that supposed 'conservatives' cheer it all on, not thinking of how dangerous the policies they advocate are.
