Susan Rice: We didn’t negotiate with terrorists, Qatar did.

This weekend, White House national security adviser Susan Rice took a break from her busy schedule of scouring YouTube for blamable videos, and sat down with CNN’s Candy Crowley. You may remember Crowley as the “journalist” who likes helping floundering Democrat Presidents score points in political debates. Crowley wanted to know if, in fact, the United States had negotiated with terrorists in its effort to secure Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s release.

The short answer is “yes,” but this is the Obama administration. ...So you never get the short answer.

“Point blank,” Crowley asked. “Did the US negotiate with terrorists for his release?”

Rice replied:

“Candy, what we did was ensure that, as always, the United States doesn’t leave a man or woman on the battlefield. In order to do this, it’s very important for folks to understand, if we got into a situation where we said because of who has captured an American soldier on the battlefield, we will leave that person behind.

We would be in a whole new era for the safety of our personnel and for the nature of our commitment to our men and women in uniform. So, because it was the Taliban that had him did not mean that we had any less of an obligation to bring him back.”

Crowley reminded Rice that it was the Haqqani network that had Sgt. Bergdahl, and then pressed the question about negotiation.

“We actually negotiated with the government of Qatar, to whom we owe a great debt.”

See how that works? We only negotiated with Qatar. Qatar did “something” and we got our captive soldier back. We didn’t negotiate with terrorists at all! Our hands are clean!

If there are two people you can trust implicitly, it’s Candy Crowley and Susan Rice.

I thought the same thing. It’s like reasoning with a five year old.

He wasn't on the battlefield -- he was in the mullah's palace consorting with the enemy.

“We” have to take over the Senate. The house probably has the votes for impeachment, not so certain Boehner has the stones to pull the trigger. Even if he does the Senate has the trial(As I am sure you know, but the trolls might not know that). Without the Senate we have the Clinton mess all over again.

Excerpt:

Additionally, the decision breaks with a decades-old standing U.S. policy to never negotiate with terrorists. Bergdahl was being held by the Haqqani Network in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. The Obama administration designated the Haqqani Network a terrorist organization just a few years ago. By negotiating with the Haqqani Network through the government of Qatar, the administration violated the policy.

If we had an honest press in this country, the first question Susan Rice would always be asked is, “Why should anyone believe anything you have to say?”

This is a three year old’s level of sophistry. Tis woman may be less fit for her job than even Obama is for his.

New department heads will have to go office by office, floor by floor, firing people.
If they are “protected” by some rule or regulation, seat them at their desks and take away their phones.

Nixon is a better frame of reference. The hearings in the House actually exposed that misdeeds had been done. It was the testimony in the Senate and especially Nixon's defiance of SCOTUS to turn over the tapes that doomed him. You gotta let the process work.

“We didn’t negotiate...Qatar did.”

SEMANTICS.

This administration has set a poor precedent. How many soldiers and marines are now in increased danger of being seized and held hostage because Al Qaeda knows Obama will “negotiate”?

It's all fine by me. To bad We the People can't do it ourselves. I only vaguely remember Watergate. I've read about it, but compared with what goes on today it seems tame.

Susan Rice is never going to tell the truth...she is one of Obama’s most ardent flackeys....if you haven’t noticed, it is ‘them’ against ‘us’....white America against black America. You can’t believe a word Ms. Rice says.

Qatar? I have a friend who was offered a job in Qatar. Big bucks. They flew him out there for the interview. I talked to him when he got back ... he said he couldn’t go to work for nazis.

Some people will do anything to be accepted. When there usefulness is over, under the bus they go, and they are to stupid to even know it will happen.

“The United States doesn’t leave a man or woman on the battlefield”

That is the key phrase. That is the phrase the Democrats will trot out when it is finally revealed to all Americans that Obama surrendered at Benghazi.

This Bergdahl business is all theater in preparation for the Benghazi hearings.

Hillary and Obama are going to attempt to justify their traitorous actions in Benghazi by pointing at Bergdahl and saying, “We had to betray our country because we never leave a man or woman behind.”

This is the strategy that they came up with at that meeting Hillary had with those 30 or 40 apologists a few days ago. This is the defense that she confirmed with Obama at their White House meeting last week.

These Democrats are dirty.
