US leader Barack Obama has promised to defend Poland and other NATO allies against potential Russian aggression.
Ive come to Warsaw todayon behalf of the United States, on behalf of the NATO allianceto reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Polands security. [The NATO treatys] Article 5 is clearan attack on one is an attack on all, he said in a speech in the Polish capital on Wednesday (4 June).
Poland will never stand alone. But not just PolandEstonia will never stand alone. Latvia will never stand alone. Lithuania will never stand alone. Romania will never stand alone, he added.
These are not just words. Theyre unbreakable commitments backed by the strongest alliance in the world and the armed forces of the United States of America.
He did not name Russia as the potential aggressor.

This time he said "period" and "end of sentence" after making the promise.
\o/ every one celebrate Europe is safe now ,blah
He’d read the Communist Manifesto and the Koran out loud if they popped up on his teleprompter too.
If you like your freedom you can keep your freedom......................
"Period", as in "You can keep your health insurance, period," clearly wasn't cutting it.
What is he doing in Europe? Is he going to Normandy on June 6th for the 70th anniversary of D-Day, is that why he is in Europe?
“Can we have some references, previous customers? We heard Ukraine bought your stuff a couple of years ago.”
Obama promised he would re-locate the 503rd Mess Kit Repair Battalion to Poland.
Good, Poland is part of NATO and an ally. Ukraine isn’t. And they are killing their own people.
What’s good? Making another empty promise?
Obama refuses to protect the USA, he will not protect Poland. You can be damned sure of that.
The same guy who pulled the rug out from under you on missile defense now swears he’s got your back. Riiiiiight....
Insert obligatory Polish joke here, except the butt of it should not be the long suffering Poles, but Big Ears.
Now I don’t like Big Ears either, but you know there are American Military in all those Countries already; I’d figure in preparation if Putin goes off the deep end. There are some things even Obama can’t allow to occur.
There is nothing that Obama will not allow to occur.
Well, I guess we can write off Poland now.
“Why did the Waverer-in-Chief find it necessary to repeat a promise that was essentially broken three months ago, I wonder.”
So when exactly was it broken ?
When was it kept, is the real question.
