The Nigerian gov STILL isn't protecting its civilians? People aren't providing their own defense in Christian areas? What can anyone do to help such dysfunctional people?

I'm disgusted.

Arm the Christians and let them pay back to the Muslims.

PURE EVIL! Prayers for the saints, and for the families, if anybody was left alive. Dear God, have mercy on these people and deliver them from the Evil One.

Apparently, the nigerian military refused to respond to the situation. What a screwed-up culture. I thought all cultures were equal. Did my public school educators mislead me? What difference does it make now anyway...they are all retired or dead.

My guess is the people in these areas have enough trouble just getting food to eat. SOMEBODY is providing these maniacs with weaponry and my guesses are the Saudis or Libyans and their “subjects”.

The unintended consequences of the US and our buddies causing the overthrow of governments in Libya and Egypt?

My point is that the Nigerian government has to step up. If they're co-existing with Boca Haran, it's not a winning strategy.

I never thought they were collaborating, but over there, who knows.

I thought southern Nigeria was Christian and animist and northern Nigeria was Islamic (sort of like the Sudan - is this a familiar pattern? Am I experiencing Cold War Deja Vu?)

Every time I read about this group, I get a tremendous urge to provide no charge 12 gage triple-ought buck enemas to relieve their mental constipation.

Lubricated with bacon grease, of course. Wouldn’t want any discomfort on their trip to hell.

Could it be that Boka Haran and the Nigerian gov are co-existing but not exactly collaberating? It sure was odd how the US was so reluctant to do anything without permission from the Nigerians. And then a Nigerian says they know where the girls are, and since then we hear.....nothing.

You'd think that after the Muslim Brotherhood's disasterous attempt at governing Egypt the US would've given up on the whole Muslim revolution thing.

A former business associate of mine who used to work on Third World improvement projects for the UN once told me that he considered Nigeria to be the most corrupt nation that he ever visited. He said the corruption began as soon as he landed in the country and exited the plane. This was from a guy who had experienced a lot of government corruption in his travels to many nations.
