Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reveals in her new book that Barack Obama’s team asked her to attack Alaska Governor Sarah Palin after Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) chose her as his running mate in the 2008 presidential race.
"[The Obama camp] immediately issued a dismissive statement and reached out to me in hopes I would follow suit,” she wrote. “But I wouldn’t.”
The details of the event have been published by CBS, which has already obtained a copy of the book scheduled for release on June 10.
“I was not going to attack Palin just for being a woman appealing for support from other women,” she wrote. “I didn't think it made political sense, and it didn't feel right. So I said no."

I can believe the Obama team wanted to attack Palin tho when one compares records, Palin trumped Obama in accomplishments. Maybe Clinton saw that as a losing strategy since she also had few accomplishments.

Obama himself didn’t physically pour the accelerant at the entry ways and attempt to burn down Sarah Palin’s church right after the 2008 elections.... while congregants were still inside.. but the idea his operatives weren’t involved is preposterous.

on Gov. Palin and her children. And the backstabber did.
Yes, she did. I remember that well. She even said she’d like to sit down and have a discussion over coffee...to which Hillary answered smugly in a televised interview that they likely wouldn’t have much in common.
Yes he did. His ‘lipstick on a pig’ reference, complete with his middle finger ‘scratch’ were most certainly directed at her.
Interpretation: “I did not attack Sarah Palin who is a woman, therefore, you cannot attack me because I am a woman.”
Putin said it best: Hillary Clinton never does anything with “grace.” Or aplomb for that matter.
The Libs will always advertise who and what they fear.
My thoughts on this are that Hillary and John McCain are joined at the hip and she only refused because of him - not Sarah. She might have had some of her own operatives doing the dirty work as well - the Libs can’t be trusted.
She's another politically correct Liberal like Obama who will only push more Socialism and Depravity upon this country.
