It was Bush’s failures - and massive unpopularity - that elected Obama. Barak is president thanks to Bush - the Iraq war and the financial freefall of 2008, primarily.

Actually what got Obama elected were the incessant lies told by the media.
I agree that those were issues, but I don’t think they had anything to do with O being elected. I think someone with the power to do so ran him over the top of all of us. If it was just a matter of the issues with Bush we would have Hillary, not O.

You mean it was a lie that we had a huge stock market crash, bank-funds freeze-up, and recession, in 2008? You need to tell Bush that this was a media lie, because he responded to it with TARP, dumping billions of our tax dollars on banks.
And it was also a lie that the Iraq war was a disaster? Hmmm. Could have fooled me - and anyone who dares to go to Iraq these days, where the violence is as bad as ever.
But that’s ok, keep telling yourself that it’s all “media lies,” if you can’t handle reality.
The next President, or Dictator; whichever it may be will be able to use this line for a long time because of the massive amount of damage this dictator has done!
It was only after the surge in Iraq and it became apparent that we would win in iraq that the media pivoted to destroying the economy. Bush had had remarkably low unemployment but when it became clear that the media was determined to lie and prepare the way for a socialist president people began selling assets.
Same happened with the crash of ‘29.
He’s still saying the first fourteen words of that until this very day.
