Secretary of State John Kerry says it's baloney to argue that U.S. troops will be more at risk in Afghanistan after the prisoner swap of five Taliban commanders for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
Our combat role in Afghanistan is over, Kerry said in an interview aired Sunday on CNNs State of the Union, when asked if U.S. troops were being put at increased risk.
"Were going to have very few people in that kind of position, he said. On occasion, but I honestly, I just think thats a lot of baloney because, to whatever degree it may be true, they will wind up putting themselves at the mercy of those people who are very effective who are there, who will deal with those guys.

I think he may be a worse sos than shrillery
What a spew of political bullshit and double talk!
Go ahead and make sense of that sentence.
I dare you.

I think I need a translator over here.
This man (Vietnam Vet, doncha know) is in love with his own voice.
If Obozo is willing to spend millions of dollars for a deserter, what would he pay for a General or a Colonel or a medal of honor winner?
Halp us, Jon Kerry, we’re stuk in Helmand Province.
It’s the gin soaked grapes.
Of course he is. How could anybody match the high standards of success that she achieved?
See another current thread: Hillary Clinton remains popular for her time as secretary of state, viewed apart from Obama
Well, John “I was in Viet Nam” Kerry knows as much about foreign policy and foreign relations as Joe Biden. So I’d say we got nothing to sweat here, folks. /s
John Kerry doe not understand history if he thinks winding down a war in Afghanistan means there there are no risks. The Afghans have a history of making life miserable for a withdrawing army.
Just ask the Brits and the Russians.
The Democrats hitched their wagon to Obama and he ran them off a cliff.
EVERY terrorist attack now belongs to the Democrat Party.
Our combat role is NOT over.
Can anything good come from the Obama administration?
Our enemy is not stupid! ...and neither are most Americans.
Did JFnKerry ever apologize for his putting GIs at greater risk — by his pro-Viet Cong activities?
Johnny Ketchup mixes a bunch of words together, throws it at the eager MSM, and you want us to make sense out of them?
