The generations-old debate over capital punishment has shifted to Washington, where President Obamas Justice Department has launched a national review of the death penalty.
ADVERTISEMENT Attorney Gen. Eric Holders inquiry, initiated last month following a mishandled execution in Oklahoma, is still in its early stages. The effort includes a look at state death penalty protocols, though its scope and ultimate implications are not yet clear.
But by ordering up the review, Obama is raising questions about what role, if any, the federal government should have on an issue that is traditionally the province of the states.

I’m warning the admin to not tread at al. If the states are stripped of their right to enforce capital punishment, it will be over to mob justice.

So? The worthless POS died didn’t he! Bring back the noose and “Old Sparky”!
This clown is supposedly a Constitutional Law expert, yet knows nothing about the 2nd Amendment or 10th Amendment.
He is either a moron or a Traitor. There is no in between.
Watch! Getting ready with the pen again--to sign away states rights to award death penalty.

Punnishment is not “traditionally” up to the states but is legally up to the states.

After the 2014 election, I expect Obama to pardon the cop killer who blacks have wanted to free.
government is so stupid they cannot kill someone unless its a innocent person with a dog and some cop shoots them...I have had to put down several old dogs in my life. Takes less than a minute and the dog gently puts her head in your lab.....but if they offered enough, a vet could do it in a minutes or two...people weigh more than most dogs.. These people are sure going to run health care real good...
