Well, if they are old enough for sex they can move out and get a job.
I never said they were old enough for sex. However at 16 most are still in high school...so the law is not the only source of whether someone should be sexually active.
As a Christian I would discourage it before marriage...but tell me how many teens listen to that advice? Considering the public school atmosphere, teen pressure, and television.
However, in my experience you don’t throw teens out to be taken advantage of because you disagree with their actions. God is LOVE and he did not throw us out, but instead forgave us and helped us learn how to live....by example. Jesus is the only perfect person, so I certainly would not expect a 15 year old to be able to live a perfect life.
Our parental disappointments should not destroy their life....it is dangerous out there. No, it isn’t easy with teens, but what worth having in life is? Family takes work, forgiveness, and patience....and unconditional love.
