Yah... you do. Teaching Trans-Gendered Aleutian Folk Music to Aleutian Natives who were unaware they had trans-gendered members of their tribe. . . or that they had folk music. . . it's hard to play flutes at 30º below zero or tap dance in mukluks.

No doubt there are many useless degrees. The hard sciences, agriculture, molecular biology, medicine, math, business management, and engineering are all marketable degrees.

There are useless degrees and worse than useless academics teaching those courses. Government subsidies will insure they continue to be employed, on our dime.
