Education teaches people to fish for themselves, to contribute to society, and to help carry the load. How about those degrees in "grievance studies"? About the only thing they seem to teach you is that all your problems are somebody else's fault, and you're entitled to reparations.

Hey, I have a degree in Trans-Gendered Aleutian Folk Music, and Im doing quite well, thank you very much. Yah... you do. Teaching Trans-Gendered Aleutian Folk Music to Aleutian Natives who were unaware they had trans-gendered members of their tribe. . . or that they had folk music. . . it's hard to play flutes at 30º below zero or tap dance in mukluks.

No doubt there are many useless degrees. The hard sciences, agriculture, molecular biology, medicine, math, business management, and engineering are all marketable degrees.

There are useless degrees and worse than useless academics teaching those courses. Government subsidies will insure they continue to be employed, on our dime.
