Los Angeles Times ^ | June 7, 2014 | By Teresa Watanabe

Peter Yu, Drew Sterrett and Lewis McLeod were headed toward bright futures at prestigious colleges and universities when each got involved in one-night sexual encounters..

All three young men claimed the encounters were consensual — but the women asserted otherwise. In each case, campus officials found the men responsible for sexual assault and expelled or suspended them.

There was a time that if a man had sex with a drunk woman it was considered rape. I’m not so sure that is a bad thing.

“The militant feminist movement has destroyed the men in this country.”

Indeed it has. And I believe that these man-hating and boy-hating vermin are the reason many males turn homosexual.

True, but when both are drunk...it becomes a prosecutorial nightmare...

When I was in college, I figured something out by watching other peoples mistakes.

Keeping it in your pants keeps you out of a lot of trouble.

When my son went away to college last year I told him to have your fun but NEVER take advantage of a woman who had too much to drink, solely to keep him away from this possibility.

“after the first drunken hook-up” This mistake is what has changed the course of your friends life. Keep your pants zipped before marriage and this would not have happened to him. A hard lesson with life long consequences.

Men and boys need to understand that women view sex differently from men, despite what they hear the media and women themselves say. Women equate sex with love… no matter how much they say otherwise. Furthermore women believe that once a man has sex with her, he will fall madly in love and never look at another. So women spurned after “casual” sex” ( really there is no such thing) are in a fragile state of psychological distress because their self esteem is largely based on their supposed sexual prowess ( the result of sexualizing girls at an early age.) and they will want revenge of some kind. Young men need to be aware that sex is never casual for a women regardless of what she says.

It’s not just college campuses, and it could be mere physical contact, not even sex. One such witch that I dated (Sunday bike rides, lunch) tried to make a case that my touching her arm was sexual assault. She further escalated it by accusing me of being a notorious white supremacist and child rapist(there is such a person with a different middle name and currently in prison). She went as far as calling my employer. I wound up leaving Texas for 12 years to maintain my engineering career. I have refused to date since that incident (1997).

Sadly, the story below is the case far too often. It is the result of no-fault divorce. It is almost exactly how it went down with me after 20 years of marriage and three beautiful daughters. It was 17 years ago and it’s kinda what people predicted. I found the woman of my dreams and live on a spectacular 32 acres as she has settled into a small older motorhome in an RV park somewhere in Arizona, This after she got the house and snuck away about $12,000 in a hidden account before doing it:

I don’t think feminism caused him to have drunken hookups. He might want to rethink participating in those.in.future.

“Piss off a woman, and she can destroy you with false charges.”

Which is why an increasing number of American males are taking their chances with women in other parts of the world. Not that they want ‘someone to dominate’, but a woman who doesn't have a chip on her shoulder. They're weary of the feminazi war machine.

Oh really? Like the wife of one of my best friends who recently got caught engaging in hookups with random men she met on ashleymadison? You think she views sex as more than just causal?

You are a bit naive and behind the times.

Many women use sex as recreation, and a means to an end. Which is just how many used it all through history.

It’s been open season on men for a long time. Piss off a woman, and she can destroy you with false charges.

Sometimes, you don't even have to actually have sex for this to happen.

Can’t argue with that.

One thing I think should be considered is that if enough time has passed and all “physical evidence” of the encounter (if you get my drift) is gone, any charges should simply be denied as in, “we didn’t have sex. I don’t know what the heck you are talking about. You sound a little crazy to me.”

i.e. fight fire with fire.

I was a deputy prosecutor for 18 years. I NEVER filed one of these cases. Some things are better left as life lessons to be learned. And if the girl AND guy (who knew he was under investigation for rape) didn't learn something from it, well, there isn't much you can do for them.

I guess now every time two people get drunk in college and have sex, rape will be charged against the guy.

Unless guy doesn't go to that college, in which case they would have to press charges with the police, who will actually ask for evidence.

The rule therefore becomes "Don't bang college girls until after you graduate".

The general rule is "Don't have sex with girls you either go to school with, or work at the same company as you".

Could be another form of Femi-Nazi activism in the war on men.

And it’s directed at men, to be careful about who you get involved with.

Don’t get into habits of having casual sex with women you don’t really know, or know well.

I've told my sons that there are two types of women out there that guys go for. There's the kind you bring home from the party, and the kind you bring home to mom and I. Don't ever confuse the two, and stay away from the party girl. She's probably crazy in the head.

He was a mechanical engineering major with straight As before all of this went down.

Best advice my old man ever gave me as a young man; "Keep it zipped up."
