His son, Alexander III, was so enraged he canceled all of his father’s reforms and doubled-down on the Russian people. His son was Nicolas II, who was murdered, along with his entire family, by the Bolshevik communists.
Had Alexander II lived, perhaps his reforms would have continued, and Russia would have a monarchy more like Great Britain, and world history would have been drastically changed. Maybe no Lenin, no successful USSR, no communists, and even no Hitler.
