Those of us in the 99 percent have had few encounters with the one percent of wealthy elites we keep hearing about. We did find a good place to start looking, though: the front office at your local state university.
The Chronicle of Higher Education shows us who belongs to the millionaires clubpresidents of public colleges who made more than a million dollars this school year:
*E. Gordon Gee, Ohio State University, $6,057,615
*R. Bowen Loftin, Texas A & M at College Station, $1,6363,274
*Hamid A. Shirvani, North Dakota University, $1,311,095
*Renu Khator, University of Houston main campus, $1,266,000
*Sally K. Mason, University of Iowa, $1,139,705
*Michael A. McRobbie, Indiana University, $1,111,924
*Michael F. Adams, University of Georgia, $1,074, 869
*V. Gordon Moulton, University of South Alabama, $1,072,121
*Mary Sue Coleman, University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, $1,037,35

Hey, all you impoverished lefties who rail against the evil one percent, send a letter to Soros and all the many other lefty billionaires and multi-millionaires demanding your fair share of the loot they obviously obtained through illegal means. You deserve at least a million. Surely, these billionaires can live on 999 million dollars.
Better yet, go to their mansions and demand your share. I'm sure you'll be greeted warmly as they'll love to greet you and spread their wealth for your benefit.

Yes. The 1 percent is mostly liberals! They amass money and look down their noses at the rest of us working stiff who are paying their salaries.

According to Wikipedia, Hamid Shirvani was formerly chancellor of the North Dakota University System (11 campuses). He left about a year ago--his last two years of his contract were paid off for more than $800,000, indicating an annual salary more like $400,000.

Right, he was at North Dakota State University.

No the other posters are correct. He was in charge of the University System. Its another layer of bureaucracy on top of the Universities themselves.
