Bundy's son: (Las Vegas) Cop killers kicked off ranch
AP ^ | 9 Jun 14 | MICHELLE RINDELS and MARTIN GRIFFITH

Jerad and Amanda Miller had been kicked off a Nevada ranch where anti-government protesters faced down federal agents earlier this year because they were "very radical," according to the son of rancher Cliven Bundy.

Ammon Bundy, one of Cliven Bundy's sons, said by telephone that the Millers were at his father's ranch for a few days this spring before they were asked to leave by militia members for unspecified "conduct" problems. He called the couple "very radical" and said they "did not align themselves" with the beliefs of other protesters, who thwarted a roundup of Cliven Bundy's cattle by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, which wants to collect more than $1 million in grazing fees and penalties.

While thousands of people have been to the site over the last couple of months, "Not very many people were asked to leave. I think they may have been the only ones," Ammon Bundy said.

On Sunday, the two Las Vegas police officers were having lunch at a pizza buffet in an aging strip mall about 5 miles northeast of the Las Vegas Strip when the Millers fatally shot them. The attack at a CiCi's Pizza killed officers Alyn Beck, 41, and Igor Soldo, 31, both of whom were husbands and fathers.

Ammon Bundy said supporters of his father are saddened by the killings and "have had no quarrel" with Las Vegas police.

"The only thing worse than (government) tyranny is anarchy," he said. "And we certainly recognize that."

"No doubt the media will misrepresent this."

hey,... that's their Job in this currently topsy turvy world.

One can with a good deal of certainty read the "mass" media..and understand whats going on by reversing all of their "fact"s and "opnions".

Just remember, the MSM is in the ‘blame republicans’ business NOT the news business.

That’s why I thought for a second about posting something back at that coward, but I just thought it better to reinforce the obvious, and agree with most of the participants here, that there is still a ton of things left unanswered on this incident...

And what’s sad...

Is we will probably not hear the complete truth in any way, shape or form...From just about any news source...

We see idiots like this come and go here...

Water under the bridge, muh man...

[thumbs up!!!]

These two never even got on the Bundy property:

“If the media wishes to make the ‘Bundy connection’ with that set of facts, they are simply parroting a regime narrative absent reality. “

There’s no evidence the psychos were ever even on Bundy’s land.

My spouse happened to have the Anderson Cooper show on. I usually tune this kind of offering out. I did see the byline, which drew the Cliven Bundy Ranch into the senseless tragedy. His guest was one Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center. I noticed another guest with an intensely pained look on his face.

Classic liberal smear in action here. Guilt by association. They do not miss a chance. On and on they went drawing a picture of the extreme right and it's menace.

I would like to see Potok and Cooper stroll unannounced in Chicago. This down Jackson on the South Side of Chicago at night. They might get a surprise.

Wow. Good thing they were kicked out. Reminds me of when the Michigan Militia reported they kicked out McVeigh because he was too violent. Disagree with their assessment of anarchy though. It will be much worse then tyranny.

The “false choice fallacy” is a hallmark of leftist thinking. Start to look for it in any article or “argument” or “rebuttal”.

No doubt the media will misrepresent this.

And some Freepers will think we conservatives need to change our behavior.

Justice Department reconstitutes domestic terror task force
By Kevin Daley | June 9, 2014 | 6:36 pm

Topics: Beltway Confidential Eric Holder Terrorism Attorney
Attorney General Eric Holder announced the Justice Department will reestablish a Clinton-era committee tasked with sharing and assessing domestic terror threats just days before a Las Vegas-area shooting spree left five dead.

The Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee was first convened in 1995 by Attorney General Janet Reno, in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing. Holder said the Justice Department’s anti-terrorism focus shifted abroad after 9/11, but insisted threats posed by al Qaeda are now diminished thanks to President Obama’s “strong and effective anti-terror efforts.

“But we must also concern ourselves with the continued danger we face from individuals within our own borders,” Holder continued. He restricted his definition of extremist groups to the far right, defining domestic terrorists as those “motivated by a variety of other causes from anti-government animus to racial prejudice.”

To me they pretty much boil down to the same thing. Strong people with power forcing their will on others through threats.
