As if the political drama were not powerful enough, chaos erupted at the election night headquarters shortly after House Majority Leader Eric Cantor conceded his stunning defeat to tea party backed conservative David Brat.
Cantor addressed his supporters for about four minutes at a suburban Richmond hotel ballroom, then boarded SUV without taking questions from supporters scurrying after him.
Then it got really rambunctious. In the room of downcast Cantor supporters, a new energy suddenly erupted but not the kind they wanted election night. A group of immigration activists stormed the ballroom, screaming and waving a flag. What do we want? Immigration reform! When do we want it? Now!

Even though I’m jaded, cynical and very suspect of nearly everyone running or in government, I am.
The fact that a “nobody” beat this entrenched political fraud is a good thing.
A small ray of light in a political sea of darkness.
LOVE IT!!!!!!! MAKE a good poster for NOvember Elections
“Even though Im jaded, cynical and very suspect of nearly everyone running or in government..”
Me too. We’ve seen too much to believe the lying scumbags who pretend to be on our side.
“Shtubin!”
Almost no one deserves this loss more than Cantor. This guy went left so fast once he was in the House it was mind-boggling.
Makes you wonder if any immigration protest the past 8 years has been real and not staged.
If it’s suspected that she is underage, isn’t there some way to report it to authorities? She’s a child and he is a pervert. Sickening!
I’m going out here on a limb, but I half suspect that the vote could not be fixed by Cantor’s Republican District Chair since that fellow lost his job to a Tea Partier a month ago. Don’t think it’s only the Rats that fix votes. What do you think Cantor and the Republican leadership were doing at their hastily called conference in Florida a couple of months back? Whatever it was, and I think it was a method to electronic ballot stuff, like Obama et al do, it made them so confident that they were going to allegedly CRUSH the Tea Party. Either Cantor’s people did not have time to put it in place or the new Chair was on his A-game and caught all the frauds. Whatever it is, love the glazed look on all the GOP-e and their media abettors. I will watch for confirmation as this develops. Nothing can say hidden anymore.
Nope, didn’t mention Brat at all.
Immigration activists?
Invasion advocates.
It ain’t over until the lameducks are out of office.
Democrats can still ram through legislation after the November election.
If they wanted the protest to show up on time, they shouldn’t have gone with union labor.
Perfect! Thx!
Cantor was so out of touch he had pro-illegal activists on hand at headquarters?
Hunh.
Color me surprised.
For once they weren’t flailing around a Mexican flag!
It's a start... Life is good!!!
IOW the amnesty activists were expecting a cantor win so they had planned to storm the victory speech.
This only makes amnesty even more toxic. Cantor supports amnesty, and amnesty activists still targeted him.
I can give him wanting to leave. He lost, it is human to just want to be alone.
He probably had staffers contemplating a write in campaign.
If he does not run a write in campaign then Brat wins and Cantor is out.
If he does run a write in campaign then the democrat wins and Cantor is out.
Numbers USA has been doing a real good job for years by focusing on one issue....stopping the invasion of the US, and that includes having EVerify as the law of the land. I trust them to have some ideas to stop Cantor and his ilk from passing their real agenda in the lame duck session.
