WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that the Irving-based Boy Scouts of America perpetuates “the worst stereotypes” by barring gay people from becoming Scout leaders.
“The continuation of a policy that discriminates against gay adult leaders — by an iconic American institution — only preserves and perpetuates the worst kind of stereotypes,” Holder said in a speech to the gay civil rights group Lambda Legal in Washington.
Holder did not announce any legal action against the Boy Scouts. A Supreme Court decision 14 years ago said the Scouts, as a private entity, had a right to discriminate against gays.
Last year the Irving, Texas-based organization softened its policy toward gays in a compromise move. After initially saying it intended to allow gays to serve as both Scouts and Scout leaders, it instead allowed openly gay boys to participate in Scouting but continued to prohibit those 18 and older from serving as leaders.
In an approach similar to the “don’t ask don’t tell” arrangement in place in the U.S. military until three years ago, the group has said it will dismiss gay leaders only if they publicly announce their sexual orientation.

At least, that was the way it was supposed to be until the B.S.A. announced their compromise. Show me a boy who has to declare the he is "openly gay" and I'll show you one who cannot possibly keep the morally straight part of the scout oath.
B.S.A. needs to decide now if the scout oath is more important that Holder's perverted view of equality. It should be patently apparent by now that there is no room for compromise.
So you homosexuals and homosexual advocates have two options:
1. You keep it to yourselves and we leave you alone.
2. We make you leave us alone.
With all the horrific problems in this country, are we going to continue to let them steer the conversation to gays and race? Time to fight back, publish all of Holder’s anti-American antics, ask him why he’s focusing on the beliefs of a private group when the country’s going to hell in a handbasket.
