Hillary Clinton Plans to Hold On to Her Benghazi Notes [Video]
Accuracy In Media ^ | June 11 2014 | Don Irvine

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told NBC News’ Cynthia McFadden that she isn’t willing to turn over her notes on the Benghazi terrorist attack, and said that if the new select congressional committee investigating the issue wants them, they can “read it in the book.”

Clinton was referring to her new book, Hard Choices, which was released this week to mixed reviews:

McFadden: You write in great detail in the book about what was happening in Benghazi as it evolved. Did you keep a diary during your time?

Clinton: I kept a lot of notes.

McFadden: If the committee wants your notes, would you turn those over?

Clinton: They can read it in the book. Let’s see whether this is on the level or not because that really matters to me. I don’t want to be part of something which, in any way, politicizes or demeans the sacrifice that we saw happen there.

If Clinton’s notes could help shed some light on what happened in Benghazi, then she owes it to the American public—and to the families of those who were killed—to turn them over to the committee so that they can determine how this tragedy was allowed to occur.

For Clinton, however, it’s not about doing what’s right, but about covering for the Obama administration and protecting her legacy, as she prepares to run for president in 2016.

In the meantime, the disastrous book tour continues.

The committee needs to purchase her book to get her notes? That’s one way to sell it.

I’d like to see those notes. I wonder how much black marker and white out have been used on them.

What an arrogant witch. “they can read it in the book”. Yeah. That is a good substitute for sworn testimony, right?

I can’t believe how arrogant the Clintons are. Hillary referring the committee to her book, if asked to testify??? Really????

Do even Democrats think that this makes sense, to sidestep a congressional inquiry by telling them to read the appropriate chapter in a book someone wrote??????

But .. if a subpoena is issued for Hillary to produce the notes .. would she risk going to jail ..?? Or would she destroy portions of the notes which obviously would convict her ..??

Or .. would the notes suddenly show up in her home about 10 years later .. to great surprise ..??

This action on Hillary’s part is going to poison her “campaign” .. put her under a lot of suspicion .. and after the election yesterday .. I’m not sure the public is ready to believe anything Hillary says.

If you want some good insight on how Hillary thinks and acts (versus what she says), read, “Hillary’s Pursuit of Power”, by Jerry Zeifman (a democrat). In case you don’t know the author’s name, he was the Chief Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee for the Nixon impeachment proceedings. Hillary was one of the lawyers working on the committee. What she did; how she treated Mr. Zeifman; how she lied and deceived all those she came in contact with (the group of lawyers she was working with), GIVE AN ACCURATE PICTURE OF WHO SHE REALLY IS. Mr. Zeifman covers an array of topics regarding the Clintons and their years in the WH. Actually, some of the info he exposes, I had never heard of before.

On the back cover, Mr. Zeifman gives a stunning appraisal of Mrs. Clinton’s self-serving unethical practices in violation of House Rules:

“A life-long Democrat, Jerry Zeifman has concluded that Hillary Clinton is ethically unfit to be President.”

This is a small soft-cover book that can be read in one evening or less.

Its leading to the setup talking point of “This has been throughly investigated and Hillary has already answered what happened. This is just another failed attempt by the teabagers to create controversy on a settled issue because they’re afraid of a strong woman being President.”

Clinton: "They can read it in the book."

She means the Book of Revelation.

Like the Rose Law firm billing notes, these notes will “mysteriously” disappear.

In January 1996, a long sought-after copy of billing records from the Rose Law Firm were identified and turned over to prosecutors by Carolyn Huber, a White House assistant to Hillary Rodham Clinton. Ms. Huber, herself a former Rose Law Firm employee, recognized the records and realized that they had been among papers that she had removed six months earlier from the First Lady’s book room on the third floor of the White House.

The mysterious appearance of the billing records, which had been the specific subject of various investigative subpoenas for two years, sparked intense interest about how they surfaced and where they had been. Shortly after the discovery of the records, Hillary Clinton made history — she became the only First Lady ever called to testify before a Grand Jury inquiry.

Whitewater investigators believed that the billing records showed significant representation by Ms. Clinton in Jim McDougal’s savings and loan, Madison Guaranty. They argued that the records prove that Ms. Clinton was not only directly involved in the representation of Madison, but more specifically, in providing legal work on the fraudulent Castle Grande land deal.

In particular, investigators zeroed in on the individual billings, including a dozen calls and meetings with Seth Ward, the individual whom regulators determined was a “straw man” in the Castle Grande deal. These contacts occurred during a period of time, including early 1986, that Ward was engaged in efforts to obtain sales commissions from McDougal that would later tip regulators to illegalities at Castle Grande.

And you still believe the veracity of Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless?

The pattern keeps on repeating.

McFadden: You write in great detail in the book about what was happening in Benghazi as it evolved. Did you keep a diary during your time?

Clinton: I kept a lot of notes.

Notice she doesn't answer the question.

Bob Woodward brought up the diary issue a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if he suspects the committee will subpoena that.

Why hasn’t Clinton testified UNDER OATH? Her arrogance screams for a subpoena duces tecum, and if she doesn’t comply imprison her.

Elements of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade, the Libyan militia hired by the U.S. State Department to station members as residents inside the U.S. compound in Benghazi and to protect the U.S. diplomats there, were “complicit” in the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that killed Amb. Chris Stevens and three other Americans, according to the testimony of Greg Hicks, who was the department’s second-ranking diplomat in Libya at the time of the attack.
