I reported the other day that the Young Guns Network, a group led by two former top aides to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, is spending $100,000 in the primary between Sen. Richard Lugar and state treasurer Richard Mourdock in a bid to protect the Indiana incumbent - and here's what some of that mail looks like.
A lit piece that the YG Network dropped focuses, as they'd said it would, on energy policy - but it is targeted to non-Republicans, as it reminds voters that Indiana's GOP primary is an open one in which Democrats and independents can vote.

It was good that Lugar lost no matter what. This was part of buiding the narrative against Cantor.
This is a payback for Cuccinelli as well.
So Rush Limbaugh and a host of fellow like-minded people have been right all along:
The DC GOP would rather have beltway Dems.
The center-right (GOP-e) and the center-left (Dem-e) are the beltway politicians (The EStablishment). They constantly reach across the aisle to each othe. Thus, we really do have a one-party system to a large degree.
Cantor is was and always will being a lying a$%wipe. He lied about his core principles and played the DC gambit. Good for the voters and David Brat that they had the courage to oust this career politician.
I get tired of the GOPe trying to manage elections so their guy gets in.
Just saw an outlandish ad paid for by the monied interests just out and out lying about the other candidate. Enough is enough. DON”T RETURN POLITICIANS!!!!
I am not going to vote for anyone who has been there more than 8 years....end of story.
Dick Lugar wanted to start a war with Syria because that was the warm and fuzzy moderate Republican thing to do.
This is a payback for Cuccinelli as well.

A lot of us with long(er) memories happily had thoughts of sweet revenge as we voted for Brat.
Whoever these two ‘young guns’ are should be ID’d, and gone after (by those with the money) so they’ll never work in DC politics again.
This sound like Rick Santorum during the Reagan years.
Thanks for the history lesson.
Wacko-left Dems are part of the Establishment too.
