Obama Praises Australia's Gun Confiscation (Oh yes he does want to take our guns!)
Truth Revolt ^ | June 11, 2014 | Yehuda Remer

Charles Cooke of National Review summed up the real message behind Obama's praise of Australia perfectly:

“You simply cannot praise Australia’s gun-laws without praising the country’s mass confiscation program. That is Australia’s law. When the Left says that we should respond to shootings as Australia did, they don’t mean that we should institute background checks on private sales; they mean that they we should ban and confiscate guns. No amount of wooly words can change this. Again, one doesn’t bring up countries that have confiscated firearms as a shining example unless one wishes to push the conversation toward confiscation.”

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

“Words, just words?”

That is because the confiscated guns had been REGISTERED and the government knew who had them.

Same for Great Britain’s confiscation of firearms.

NEVER REGISTER YOUR GUN!

The battles of Lexington and Concord were the result of the last time a tyrant tried confiscation in America. And let’s face facts—0bama is a frustrated tyrant. He would be every bit as bad as Stalin if he had the whole Congress. If you know people who have never handled a firearm, offer to teach them. Positive exposure is the best way to break the fear cycle the Democrats are ginning up.

"...unless one wishes to push the conversation toward confiscation."

If they think this is actually possible... if they actually try this... well...

It is time for the g0vt to quit making noise and start coming out and getting our guns, let’s find out how much stomach they have.

I have a feeling it will be jsut like Nevada, as soon as the feds saw men with guns, they called the state police looking for a way out.

The police are never going to come out of the cities to confiscate our guns folks, it’s all politics, on our side the NRA makes a ton of money, on their side HandGunControl makes a ton of money, it’s like abortion, neither side want so see it end, there is to much money in it.

uring his Tumblr Q&A Tuesday, President Obama hailed Australia’s confiscation of firearms following the 1996 Port Arthur shootings: “Couple of decades ago, Australia had a mass shooting, similar to Columbine or Newtown. And Australia just said, well, that’s it, we’re not doing, we’re not seeing that again, and basically imposed very severe, tough gun laws, and they haven’t had a mass shooting since. Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There’s no advanced, developed country that would put up with this.” The Port Arthur Massacre had Martin Bryant, a 28-year-old from New Town, shoot and kill 35 people and wound 23. Predictably, Obama praised a government that forced its citizens to give up their guns because of a national tragedy. Charles Cooke of National Review summed up the real message behind Obama’s praise of Australia perfectly:

This is a test....what town was this the most famous aussy shooter from?...after which they banned guns?

Australians weren’t willing to say “Up yours” when the law was passed. Who wants to bet Americans will be more than happy to say it?

Obama, Holder, and Feinstein don’t want to confiscate guns. Only your guns.

0bama is underestimating the intensity index. Almost all those that have guns, really want to keep their guns. Those that want guns registered and confiscated are really not that motivated to disarm gun owners, especially when we see violent incidents associated with gun confiscation.
I don’t think that 0bama can rely on sufficent cooperation from the police and military, especially in rural areas. The stupid LEOs that follow orders will be the first to go down in a full out gun confiscation/civil war. The smart ones will stay home or join the resistance.
