I love Cruz but why wouldn’t he have the same “problem” that Obama did as far as eligibility goes? Obama at least lied and doctored a fake birth certificate but Cruz wouldn’t do that...he’s not natural born is he?

The difference is the claim against Obama. The claim is that Obama’s mama birthed Obama overseas BEFORE she had met the years of eligibility requirements of the law. She was very young.
Cruz’s mom did meet those years of eligibility requirements. She was already a college graduate plus.

Cruz’s dad became a Canadian citizen, and at the time, Canada was strongly encouraging its citizens not to have dual citizenship. Rafael Cruz probably renounced his Cuban citizenship on becoming a Canadian citizen. We know he renounced his Canadian citizenship on becoming a US citizen.
No. There is zero doubt that Cruz an American citizen at the time of his birth, which, despite all the furor to the contrary, is the only definition that's ever legally mattered for "natural born citizen". Some of the alleged circumstances around Obama's birth would, if proven true, show him to not have been an American citizen at the time of birth. Different issues.
