The VA Sacrificed Vets for Solar Panels
FrontPageMag ^ | June 12, 2014 | Daniel Greenfield

The VA Scandal began at the Phoenix VA Health Care System where administrators earned promotions and bonuses by shunting patients who needed treatment into fake waiting lists. As many as 40 veterans had died while waiting for care and 1,715 veterans in the Phoenix VA Health Care System had waited more than 90 days for an appointment. A retired Navy serviceman died of bladder cancer after being put on a 7-month waiting list after blood was found in his urine. He finally received an appointment a week after his death.

"Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki announced that “in order to continue providing Veterans with the best health care and benefit services, VA must adapt to climate change.” ------Beyond disgraceful!

In Obamacare America, we call that a WIN.

Will the VA now be spending its money on the health problems brought in by the hordes of young illegal immigrants flooding this country?

If military bases are being used to house, clothe, feed, and control epidemics of TB, scabies, and other diseases being brought in, will they take away from the VA budget?

Vets are dying waiting for care while they are shuffled off to phantom waiting lists, over and over again in location after location.

When something happens over and over again in location after location, one must assume that is because of deliberate policy. Vets are being killed to save a little money.

The fact that that money is being squandered on Solar Panels makes it all the more disgusting.

Now, if the Obama Administration could somehow figure out how to make solar panels out of dead veterans...

Instead of lawsuits, there should be arrests, followed by trial and executions. Preferably long, slow ones. Impalement, crucifixion and Apache justice come to mind.

We must all make sacrifices for the planet...some choices are more painful than others.
/s

Go to the Fedgov website and just start reading some solicitations to see just how pervasive this embrace of climate change is...this is our tax money at work. Stupid solar, geothermal at the cost of millions to save a few dollars maybe over time.

MIGHT be different if any of it actually worked, even as a cost saving measure...

On my way to Lowes yesterday I was trying to figure out what the DHS car in front of me was. It turned into Lowes and I saw it was a Hyundai hybrid. (Incidentally, the plate had on it, “for official use only.”) It looked quite luxurious. Why would the government supply a luxury hybrid which is an expensive “green” car, rather than a much less expensive 40 mpg regular gas car? It seems to me that fleet cars used to take into account cost and try to ease the taxpayer burden. The hybrid, without the $7,500 tax back is way too little car for the money. Since it’s for government use the $7,500 should not be in the equation.

Hate to disagree, but the gov does not NEED to PLAN bad things. Miserable service is what the gov is ALWAYS all about.

Marxists place human beings at about the same level you or I would place a pesky fly in the kitchen. Humans after all are to blame for everything that is wrong in the world. The fewer there are, the more taxpayer dollars can be spent on mindless environmental engineering. Dan Greenfield has a marvelous way of laying bare this grotesque wicked mindset.

:: waiting for care while they are shuffled off to phantom waiting lists ::

Interesting to note that this is ^exactly^ the kind of program FWOTUS-Michelle established in Chicago at her high-paying hospital administrators job (funded, in part, with ILL funds approved by her husband).

There are no coincidences in politics.

Thank you for the post.

I heard that the money given to the VA has doubled in the last couple of years. It has not helped to fund better care for the vets. So this is where the money went.

“....will they take away from the VA budget? “

My thought is that the dems have had enough scandal regarding the VA lately. This next funding will come straight out of SSI and Medicare. After all, why do old, non productive people need to live anyway when the next round of voters will be coming from latinos?/s

Millions spent on “green energy” while veterans died from lack of treatment. We see what Obama’s real priorities are.

“I heard that the money given to the VA has doubled in the last couple of years. It has not helped to fund better care for the vets. So this is where the money went.”

That is the key to any organization ran and controlled by rats.

They get more money and spend it on payrolls and bonuses for them and “invest” in green wet dreams like solar panels.

Then, they fund ABCNNBCBS and Follywood by having their fellow rats in those areas make commercials of how good for America, they are.

Oh, you just don’t understand....

Facilities costs come out of a different bucket and are not considered “recurring costs”.

Patients, on the other hand, are recurring costs which must be controlled in any good SOCIALIST regime.

Death Panels are clearly a primary management tool, in that environment.

I trade stocks and options for my living and have often wondered how solar stocks were being talked about and recommended almost daily. I would do my DD on a couple and find out they were still inefficient and too costly, just as I had been taught in “the old days”. Even with gubmint subsidy, it still made no sense. Now I see. The gubmint bought all they could make. I knew it couldn’t be anyone that wanted to make a profit. Sooner or later they will run out of gubmint projects and real people will have to buy them and sales will dry up, just as they always have through my 63 years of life.
