During President Obama's Tumblr town hall Tuesday, he claimed there's never been a better time to be alive -- because “the world is less violent than it has ever been.”
Obama, responding to a question about where he saw himself in 10 years, eventually began talking about the world at large.
“The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed than it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been,” Obama said.
Really? Because last I checked, Iraq is falling into chaos, Ukraine is on the verge of a civil war, Boko Haram is terrorizing Nigeria, and Afghanistan is facing an emboldened Taliban.
