This same ISIS is now taking back Sunni areas from the weak Malaki Shiite rule emanating out of Baghdad. This northern Sunni area of Mosul has oil wells to finance this new ISIS trans Iraq-Syria government.
ISIS has backhoes and bulldozers demolishing border markers on the Iraq-Syria line as part of them proclaiming they are a transnational Islamic Jihad movement intent on re-establishing the transnational Caliphate
