Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele on Friday warned that the tea party caucus is not happy with the rush to coronate Rep. Kevin McCarthy as majority leader. “Guys in Congress and gals rushed this thing through,” Steele said on MSNBC. “The base is not happy about it. They wanted to see a conservative — probably someone out of the tea party caucus — at least vie for the position. They clamped it down early, did not give them a chance to ramp it up, and that’s going to come back to bite.”

Then dig up a write in. When I said McCarthy ran unopposed I mean he really was unopposed. No Democrat ran and no other Republican either. He got 100% of the 56,000 votes cast so his name will be the only one on the November ballot.

The Tea Party Caucus is no longer believable with letting this through. Why? They should have someone who they were planning to have challenge Boehner as Speakier, and that person could've gone for Cantor's position.

The only conclusion I can draw is that they had no intention of challenging Boehenr as Speaker, again. I wonder how many of them are real conservatives and how many are just playing the numbers game so they can vote with conservatives when they have to, but know the RINOs will still be in charge.

We must first cleanse our own party, in the primaries AND THE GENERAL (stay home, never vote for a rat or RINO)

From there we can take on the other commies and illegals.
