On Thursday evening, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer asked Congress to end the "intentional and unconscionable" humanitarian crisis at the border that the Obama administration has created and ignored.
In a letter to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Brewer mentioned that illegal immigrants are actually flagging down border patrol agents so they can enter the United States, where the Obama administration has led them to believe they will receive amnesty. She said it was also their responsibility to do something about the crisis at the border.
"As congressional leaders, you have the ability to take action, get answers and stop the lawlessness that is unfolding. On behalf of the State of Arizona, I ask you to do so," she said. "I urge you to use your voice, and the authority of your offices and the institutions you lead, to immediately and permanently terminate this atrocious policy and stop this massive, unfettered influx of illegal crossings into our country."
Brewer said that the federal government's "primary and fundamental responsibility" is "protecting our nation and its citizens," "but it cannot be done as long as we have an unsecured border and a federal executive that invites and encourages illegal activity."

Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) suggested that until Congress passes sweeping amnesty legislation, "every institution in America" should find ways to ignore or work around federal immigration laws. He also said that President Barack Obama's Deferred Action program was the first step in implementing more amnesty programs. Testifying before a Senate Subcommittee hearing in Chicago on "Immigrant Enlistment" that Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) chaired, Gutierrez said that "every institution in America, including our military, must work around the inability of our federal government and the U.S. House of Representatives to fix our immigration system."
He also pushed the Navy and Marines to allow U.S. citizens who are married to illegal immigrants to enlist at a hearing in which Durbin called on the Pentagon to start enlisting DREAMers. Gutierrez, one of the most vocal pro-amnesty legislators, has repeatedly called on Obama to flout the nation's immigration laws even more and act unilaterally to give amnesty to more illegal immigrants, including the families of those offered temporary amnesty. This imbecile Gutierrez and his co-conspirators need to be exposed. We need to determine where Gutierrez is getting his orders from and with whom he is colluding. Gutierrez outlines treacherous activities which are significant national security threats......which serve to undermine the US' sacrosanct rule of law. These acts correspond with flaccid, decrepit Third World countries' calculated plans to weaken and subjugate the US to their evil demands.
Gutierrez and his co-conspirators are a national security threat and present a clear danger to law-abiding US citizens. Many illegal are hardened criminals w/ convictions for: (1) drunk or drugged driving, (2) aggravated assault, (3) flight escape, (4) pedaling dangerous drugs, (5) vehicle theft, (6) kidnapping, (7) sexual assault, and, (8) homicide.
The 36,007 criminal released by ICE in 2013 were encumbered w/ about 88,000 convictions.

In addition to millions of federal tax dollars, La Raza also collected a $1 million Democratic earmark that funded “community-development” projects. Analysts report that much of it went to "mortgage counseling." (waiting or hysterical laughter to die down)
They need to go full force on it. Control all borders, protect the state from invasion at the international border, turn away illegal alien buses at the state borders, are prohibit deplaning at airports.
They should also go to court and attack.
If Obama sends the feds the spectacle will be a PR disaster.
Nothing is gained by responding. Everything is gained by driving events, setting the agenda, establishing the narrative.

In other words, calling out the Guard isn't going to keep the illegal children out of the U.S. They'll take the kids into custody...and turn them over to ICE, just like the Border Patrol.
The feds are the only people who can deal with this problem. They need to feed, clothe and house them...and determine where they came from. Then, they need to approach the countries involved and advise them that they will be returning X children to the country and are willing to contribute to their care and keeping until they can be returned to their home village and parents.
WHEREUPON THEY NEED TO BE DEPORTED!!!

In the event the Attorney General determines that an actual or imminent mass influx of aliens arriving off the coast of the United States, or near a land border, presents urgent circumstances requiring an immediate Federal response, the Attorney General may authorize any State or local law enforcement officer, with the consent of the head of the department, agency, or establishment under whose jurisdiction the individual is serving, to perform or exercise any of the powers, privileges, or duties conferred or imposed by this chapter or regulations issued thereunder upon officers or employees of the Service.

Only problem is Eric Holder. He sues states that try to protect themselves. Holder has been found in Contempt of Congress, they can imprison him. Now would be a good time.
