In the last few days, city after city has fallen to a massive army of Al Qaeda offshoot terrorists called ISIS. As the Daily Beast puts it, ISIS is the terrorist organization so extreme that it was "booted" from Al Qaeda proper. They organized, trained, took Mosul and, as a result, have now confiscated gobs of formerly-U.S. military hardware.
With the fall of Mosul on Tuesday, Iraq’s al Qaeda offshoot has not only seized the country’s second-largest city, it appears it also has come into possession of the heavy weapons and vehicles the U.S. military had provided Iraq’s military to fight them.
Now, the Independent reports that Baghdad is preparing for the worst as the army of Islamic militants threatens to overrun the capital city.

I never watch the network news because it just irritates me.
I did catch just a few words as I was switching channels.
I am not sure which network it was but he said something very much like this. The first few words are an exact quote.
“Make no mistake, this was caused by our intervention in Iraq by the Bush administration.” I am not certain he used the word Bush but if he didn’t he said basically the same thing.

Iraq disappears due to ISLAM because the ME dictators, removed with such efficiency by the US Muslim Brotherhood alliance with the US form the Bush’s to Obama, no longer exist to prevent the Muslim vacuum left being filled by a new Caliphate, carefully, and necessarily dissolved by wise men of the Paris Peace Conference of 1919 in Paris.
Iraq does not matter with Syria except for the water it controls, now in ISIS hands along with what is in store with what Islam does when it has money, weapons and masses of willing Jihadists. What a Caliphate can do, with demonstrative heads rolling in Iraq, is what it has done thru history, expand territory in a slicing manner.
