They would rather have a Democrat who votes 10% on conservative issues than a "RINO" who votes 70% on conservative issues.

Actually, according to your link (corrected), they rate McConnell at 92%. He went wrong on two out of 25 votes, the two bad votes being for S.601 (Water Resources Development) and against S.139 (Spending Cap).

Those who fail to vote for him in November will share the blame for how Grimes votes in 2015-2020.

It's the cloture votes that count, and the rating organizations don't look at cloture votes.

Yours would be a fine approach if it didn’t ignore the fact that liberals — meaning actual liberals, not just conservatives who are less conservative than you — would gladly fill the space created by your destruction.

It is a technicality and a dodge, not a real choice.

Better make sure that doesn't happen. Because the destruction of liberal republicans will continue.

Try to convince your liberal republican leadership to get right, because you can't convince conservatives to vote for liberal republicans anymore.

It's a brave new world.

Those intimidation scare-tactics are meaningless. It's sentiments like that that have finally convinced me to dump my GOP registration and become an Independent.

The stupid party will have no real Conservatives in it because people attempting to shame principled Conservatives will drive them from your party.

How can you people demand we vote for a man who PUBLICLY declared war on Conservatives and VOWED to crush us wherever they found us????

I contend because you people have no principles, only party loyalty.

And that is what got this nation to this point to begin with.

Being an independent does not relieve you of the decision of Mitch or Grimes.

Any other course is copping out

Come now. If your two little examples were the whole of it, or in any geometric proximity to truth, McConnell would be in no trouble whatsoever.

Lobbying against conservatives, openly and with bluster, is no where close to attracting anyone but more liberal RINO votes. It’s sedition to help McConnell help the Marxists.

We need real patriots willing to resist, but resistance is hard and bears risk. Avoiding risk in fear and trembling has brought this upon us. Enough.

The republican purists have problems accepting the new reality that they can't count on the base if they run liberal candidates.

It makes them angry.

So how is writing in a Pro-life Tea Party Conservative in November instead of Voting for Mitch McConnell ‘a vote for abortion’????

Because it has the practical effect of sending Grimes to the Senate in place of McConnell. Duh!

It's not a conservative vote. It's a temper tantrum.

That's why I call them purists. They would rather a democrat win than a conservative that isn't part of their republican machine.

Your way has brought us to naught, destroyed the party and your cloture voting McConnel has contributed to collapse. Compromise with the devil has never worked well for freedom and liberty. Wake up. Drop the fear and trembling. Make a difference.

Or, watch us make a difference without you.

Your approach is what is known as “cutting off your nose to spite your face.”

No, it won’t be painless. The final result will be ugly. And no good will come from it.

But, for now, it’s a free country and you can make all the bad decisions you want. Trouble is, the rest of us will pay the price.

Sounds like something Barry would support.

Whine all you want. I'll be working hard on the ground and on the phones to get rid of liberal republicans while you are trying to convince conservatives to vote for those liberal republican candidates.

So says you? I'm writing in a Staunch Conservative in November against McConnell and encouraging others in my area to do the same.

If you think that is a cop-out - ask me if I care what you think.

I'm done with the battered wife syndrome. I'm not voting FOR a man who declared war on me and my principles. I'm voting for a Conservative, PERIOD. If that gives Grimes the seat - then so be it.

It’s sedition to help McConnell help the Marxists.

The fact remains, electing Grimes helps the Marxists more. Especially, if it allows Reid to remain Majority Leader.

GOOD! Better the enemy we know than the traitor within who ends up declaring war on you

Call it whatever you like. You people are doing nothing but confirming that our course to write in Conservatives instead of Ruling Class Oligarchs is the correct one.
