Apparently two years of Lois Lerner’s emails have been lost, according to the IRS. The disappearance of the emails caused House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp to blast: “The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to Congressional inquiries. There needs to be an immediate investigation and forensic audit by Department of Justice as well as the Inspector General.”
Camp’s June 13 statement went on to elaborate why those missing emails are so crucial to the investigation:
“Just a short time ago, Commissioner Koskinen promised to produce all Lerner documents. It appears now that was an empty promise. Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies. Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone.

Lois Learner needs to go before the board , the water board .
Forget e-mail , forget lying testimonies and other diversions and distractions . get the truth , the whole truth and nothing but the truth . Or pay the cost.
Florida has a crime known as “despoilation of evidence”.
Also, in most jurisdictions, if the keeper of the document doesn’t, the presumption is that the document was as the plaintiff claimed and it was ‘disappeared’.
Happens with corrupt governments all the time.
The problem is that the IRS official who testified in March said the emails are archived.
