Computer crash MY ASS! Those e-mails are very much there...if they erased them, they are recoverable.

MORE BULLSHIT from this corrupt government.

The truly disgusting part of this, and the most depressing, is that they’ll get away with it. Nothing will change until citizens mass on Washington with pitchforks, rails, torches, tar and feathers.

It is insulting for them to think that anyone would believe this crash tale.
If a mail server crashed that badly they would lose more than just one persons email.

This supposed “email deletion” means one thing.

The IRS scandal goes all the way to the top!

They are only recoverable if the government wants to recover them. The “government” does not want to recover them.

It’s kind of like accidentally finding all of those files in Hillary Clinton’s closet. If they were not found accidentally they would be gone forever.

Complete BS by the IRS. Email doesn’t live on your hard drive. Out lives on a mail server that’s backed up and often time archived.

If a computer crash at the IRS results in lost data, the entire IT staff needs to be fired.

I’m sure Eric Holder’s DOJ/FBI investigators will be able to find them.

I manage IT services for small business clients. It would be impossible that a single PC “crash” would delete exchange/outlook emails, especially, and conveniently, only for two years and only for outbound correspondences. Does not happen. Has never happened in history of computing. And this is for Joe’s Auto Repair. Not the IRS, which uses enterprise servers, mirrored hard drives, fault tolerance, backups, offsite storage (for years). This is absolute BS! Lois Lerner personally deleted these emails from her sent folder. Which is a crime. Even so, the IRS has copies/backups.

Right, if there is a system crash the in information is never lost.
In addition, if the computers got accidentally smashed with a hammer there would probably be 6 backup drives for redundancy since this is the government and they copy what big time businesses would do.

I agree and everyone involves knows this is total bullshit.

Didn’t the government also “lose” emails from both Clinton and Gore?

Somebody needs to go to jail

- The IRS is “double-billing” honest American taxpayer/citizens for 2013 -

- Why ?

• They hope you do not notice it

• If you notice it they still will want to keep the illegal “late penalties” and “interest”

- Check your accounts and info - somebody has to pay for those “golf dates” with Tiger Woods at $1.5M a weekend!
