There are so many ATM’s in Californicator Land which accept EBT cards, they have to list them by zipcodes not cities in much of Californicator EBT Land. Once a Obama Voter uses his/her/its EBT card at an ATM, they get cash and buy anything with it.

That’s not quite how it works. EBT cash benefits can be used for anything( with a few exceptions). It takes the place of assistance, what used to be a welfare check, a paper check in the mail.
EBT Food takes the place of food stamps and can be only used for food. Not everybody gets both.
Electronic systems don’t cause fraud and abuse. I still think that they reduce fraud, though nothing cuts fraud completely out. Criminal types, and that’s what assistance fraudsters are, often sophisticated criminals, are a step or two ahead. It’s the same as Internet spam or any other problem.
One problem is when the electronic systems go down, as we saw in some major cities last year. Horrible problems ensue, but that’s true with all kinds if electronic transaction systems, ATMs, gas pumps, these fast food vending systems that we will probably see in Seattle because of the minimum wage down there. This is the down side. This is one if the reasons an EMP attack is so scary. I realize I’m veering a little off topic.
Yes, and although I imagine it happens in other cities too, this stuff is the real reason Detroit went to hell, and, I hate to say it, a real comeback is unlikely. As a disclaimer, I should say Ive never been there. But I know they had a few comebacks, but ultimately those didnt succeed long-term.
I’m interested in this stuff personally now because we are are trying to be labor coaches for the rebirth of Everett, a much smaller city, I realize. I should say downtown Everett.
