No, it’s not ironic.

Legislators knew what they were getting into when they took away the only means for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves against criminals.

You can bet that these same legislators either carry concealed or have a bodyguard paid for by the very citizens that they disarmed.

Government seems to be on the side of the criminal because they never disarmed them as they did with the non-criminal element.

NO! It is not ironic!! It is just plain common sense!!!

Criminals by definition do not obey rules, laws or regulations.

Gun control applies ONLY to the law abiding. It discourages law abiding from owning guns and gives unfair advantage to criminals.
