Veterans are outraged after a KMPH FOX 26 News investigation reveals the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno was caught blocking the Fox News Channel from a hospital waiting room.
Is it a mistake or something more?
Veteran Bob McLaughlin says, It was just beyond amazement because I know Fox News has been pretty heavy on any of the government things coming out, especially the Veteran Affairs Hospital scandal.

It has an app called quick remote which can pair with TV's.
I changed the channel in my doctors office. Can't wait to try it in an airport.
What’s fun is you can buy a little device that will rapidly cycle through TV codes and quickly shut off any TV.
It’s so much fun to use discretely at the airport or a waiting room when the propaganda is on...

Houston is somewhat unique. Your first clue might be the 13 foot tall bronze statue of George H. W. Bush in the lobby.
Isn’t Houston airport named Mickey Leland International?
After the black radical Congressman?
yeap, that was my point. thought it was pretty neat.
This isn’t unusual for VA or other DoD facilities.
I retired out of Walter Reed AMC in 1997 and went to work with DoD in 2000. I couldn’t believe the propaganda news networks were all that were showing in the clinics where I was working. All CNN/MSNBC all the time, and if you changed the channel to FOX (if it was available on satellite or cable) someone would come along in a minute and change it right back.
The progressive agenda-drivers didn’t stop there.
I left copies of the NRA’s monthly magazine and Guns and Ammo and Combat Handgun as well as Cabela’s and other camping/hunting/shooting oriented catalogues in the waiting room of my clinic only to have one truly evil nurse throw them away one after the other.
I confronted her on this only to have her tell me guns and hunting were inappropriate for the medical environment.
In a f**king MILITARY clinic. Where I’d be screening active duty soldiers/sailors/airmen/marines and DoD civilians to go over to the sandbox where they would what? Hold up “give peace a chance” stickers to the Hajis?
Five years I worked in that environment and fled when I got fed up with it.
The progressives have turned everything upside down inside out and left is right (red is blue) and I’m just waiting for the next shoe to drop.
I presume your comment might be satirical. If not, Houston has two major airports, The George Bush Intercontinental, and the William P Hobby International.
I was flipping through the FM dial in Norwich, NY and aside from the obligatory autotuned garbage Pop station, and the autotuned garbage “country” station, every other radio program was NPR or some similar moonbat worldview drivel.

I had a friend that would go to the electronics department of the big departments stores and change the channel on every television screen to Horse Racing... as a “public service”.
I would love to have that for the insanely stupid video ads they now have in GROCERY STORES.... since when has this been acceptable? Probably they get away with it because 47% of American homes have 2-3 television sets in the home that are on, regardless or anyone watching.
Your story illustrates why having CNN on instead of FOX is understandable in a lot of public places.
The average CNN viewer is far less stable, mentally, than is the average FOX viewer.
Think of it as putting on cartoons to keep the neighbors little ones from having a temper tantrum in public.
Part of the Zen of conservatism is to calmly bear with the general insanity of liberals and their dupes.
From Wikipedia:
“Instead of renaming the whole airport, the city named Mickey Leland International Arrivals Building, which would later become Mickey Leland Terminal D, after the congressman.
“In April 1997, Houston City Council unanimously voted to rename the airport George Bush Intercontinental Airport/Houston, after George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.
My mistake.
I have a neighbor who goes to the Reno VA hospital many times a month.
When he walks in, he goes directly to the TV & changes the channel to FOX. They haven’t blocked Fox yet at that hospital.
I wonder how much of a ruckus has to be made before this comes out nationally???
I’ve been fighting it off and on for at least fifteen years.
Am so happy for a no tv zone where I can read in peace. I always have a book.
But alternatively, sports are the best. The View is obscene.
No one notices that these news shows are rated R and the women’s talk shows are M.
LOL! How the heck did said friend ever do that - was he/she wearing a department store vest - ???!
Bet some of my grandsons have a gizmo to do the same thing - unnoticed - -
