by Sharyl Attkisson on June 14, 2014 in News 2 Comments The news came late in the day on Friday the 13th.

According to the House Ways and Means Committee, the IRS reports having “lost” former IRS manager Lois Lerner’s emails to and from other IRS employees sent between January of 2009 and April of 2011 due to a ‘computer crash.’

In light of the disclosure, these are some of the logical requests that should be made of the IRS:

Please provide a timeline of the crash and documentation covering when it was first discovered and by whom; when, how and by whom it was learned that materials were lost; the official documentation reporting the crash and federal data loss; documentation reflecting all attempts to recover the materials; and the remediation records documenting the fix. This material should include the names of all officials and technicians involved, as well as all internal communications about the matter.....

There is something to be said about having multiple scandals. Only the last 1 or 2 remain in the news.

So you're basically saying that America is moving from an era of President as moral leader of the country to President so ruthless and unethical that he overwhelms the nation with scandals in order to keep them on the back of their heels and flat-footed?

Yes, sad but true. When you elect a community organizer and Acorn lawyer with ZERO experience in running anything, not even a hot dog stand, you are left with crass politics and incompetence.

Shame on those republicans and conservatives who abstained in 2012 by the millions. They are responsible for the destruction of this country right before our eyes.

My feeling is that we have missed the boat on doing anything. As soon as Lerner pleaded the 5th, a search warrant should have been issued for any and all computers that she used accessing IRS business (home and office) and phones. To me, it seems very likely that alot of business was conducted via yahoo, msn, aol pseudo email accounts. A thorough search of all the hard drives and memories would have turned up a treasure trove of information. I’m sure with all the stone walling of the past year, alot of incineration of cell phones and hard drives were carried out by key folks at the IRS and White House.

As for now, I am waiting for some brave civil servant or contractor at the IRS to step out from the shadows and call BS. We can only hope that someone will wake up and see the madness that this regime has created.

Absolute shame, yes. It is very sad to see the destruction of USA carried on by Obummer. I warned every one but some were consumed with hate of the republican nominee. I lived many years in Chicago, actually spend a few years in Obummer’s residence neighborhood. I know him like the back of my hand.

Well...there is always going to be the low-information voters, the lazy who depend on gov’t checks, and the die hard rich liberals who will always vote for Obama and clones.

I have given up on that crowd. But why intelligent people would abstain on election day because the candidate is not their first or second or third choice? Romney was at bottom of my list, but I voted more against Obummer than for Romney in the general. As a Chicagoan most of my life, I know that crowd real well.
