There’s so much redundancy in computer databanks anymore that it’s virtually certain that the computer crash excuse is yet another lie and gesture of contempt by this PUNK we elected as president.

The last company I worked for had a written policy that emails would be automatically, permanently deleted after 30 days. They could not be retrieved no matter how important they were. This was instituted after the Microsoft lawsuit where relatively minor and some major players wrote incredibly stupid and lawsuit supporting statements.

Your Emails have been
“lost”?
That is such a 20th Century type of lie. Whoever cooked up that halfbaked excuse must be somebody about my age, close to 60. The younger folks, and the ‘still-learning-elders’
would know better than to even go through such a ridiculous charade. Try again. Aren’t the American people worth a better lie than that? Or better still, how bout seeking immunity then telling the truth now vs after ten years and four billion in court costs are spent needlessly.

Well you elect principled people who will prosecute those that lie, cheat and use their authority to subvert. It ain’t rocket surgery.

To expect a group of Charlie Sheens bent on WINNING! no matter what to suddenly give to craps about ‘what’ after being elected is the mentality children have. Fantasy logic.

Want justice served? Stop electing the people that ensure it won’t be. Stop electing the people that go out of their way to drag investigations out for years so a criminal is never held to account.

Stop electing the RINOs. Anyone want to argue against it? Please do. But you have to be pretty foolish to try.

There needs to be a 21st century version of tar and feathers to humiliate these scoundrels.

Why do we need a 21st century version? Is there something wrong with the 18th century version?

Subpoena the integrator and find out why it charged the taxpayer millions of dollars for an unreliable system.

Will the IRS be allowed to get away with this?

From the NYT article today: “The agency said that because of financial and computing constraints, some emails had been stored only on individuals’ computers and not on servers, and that “backup tapes” from 2011 “no longer exist because they have been recycled.”

Re: “No national Tea Party support for David Brat.”

True - but for a good reason.

For most of the campaign, Brat trailed in all polls by 25%-30%.

Even in the last week, Cantor’s own pollster had Cantor up 10%-15%.

One of the national Tea Party leaders said it would have been completely “irresponsible” for the Tea Party to commit their limited funds to someone who was that far behind.

Tea Party ‘support’ was in the form of ‘VOTES’... not in the form of cash from elites.

Why is this so hard for some people to understand?

Every email has two copies...the one in your computer when you send it and the one on the computer it was sent to. C’mon...this is up there with “the dog ate my homework”!!!

The senders & recipients of Lerner email have their copies.

I suggest Congress subpoena ALL IRS related email & let their staff search them for criminal behavior. Relevant evidence will likely be found in days rather than months.

That ought to get their attention.

Emails don't get "lost."

First Lois cops the Fifth, then this.

One suspects that when the truth outs (and one suspects that it likely will be), then the email conversations (persons and content) just might be huger than hugely huge.
