When I was in school, we actually did have the Bible in school and we’re taught to memorize some scriptures, as part of our class assignment. This was no back-woods school, but the Dallas Public School System. When my younger brother went ... they were no longer doing it!

And these days, when I refer to the Bible, I have to define that, too ... as the absolutely inerrant and infallible Word of God, totally dependable in ALL THINGS that it speaks about. I always refer to this historic church document, too ... in regards to that ...

Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy

The entire history and documentation for this is housed in the library archives of Dallas Theological Seminary.

I'd like to see the return of the McGuffey Readers to classrooms. It had a sound collection of readings, notably the Eternal, Inerrant Word of the One and Only God. Also highly recommended are the publications of BJU Press from the thoroughly Christian Conservative institution, Bob Jones University. American Exceptionalism will be restored when our nation returns to the Biblical principles upon which it was founded.

I was 15 when the law said the Bible could not be used and prayer banned from our high school.

I had an old guy for a chemistry teacher and in our first class he said, you will all ask me sooner or later where the elements come from and so I will tell you now.

He then read from Genesis.
