Thad Cochran Ad: I’m Really This Desperate (Not the Title, But Should Be) #MSSEN
Legal Insurrection ^ | 6/16

Posted on 06/16/2014 1:05:12 PM PDT by nickcarraway

Maybe this would have worked had it been done early and often.

Chris McDaniel was a radio talk show host. As such, he said some things. When you hear them, it really isn’t that over the top for a radio talk show host.

Even Josh Marshall at TPM notes:

Not totally shocking for what you hear on talk radio. But maybe a problem for a would-be United States Senator.

Using a candidate’s own words against him certainly is fair game. And this ad isn’t any worse than normal political fare.

But coming when it does, it smacks of desperation.

This the sort of ads we can expect to see from Democrats if McDaniel wins. Probably better for McDaniel to get them out there now.

McDanial should do an ad featuring Cochran’s own words against him...

I’ll take the guy that says some “indecent” things on radio, over the other that DOES indecent things to animals.

Al Franken set THAT bar.

I may be different than the rest of the crowd on FR but I instantly assumed he was a backwoods hunter and killing an animal is definitely considered indecent by many city folks. I am sure he shot a lot of squirrels, as I have. Not always to eat, sometimes just to see if I could make the shot. Indecent, yes but that’s what young hunters do.

Now that’s out in the open, like you I hope the old bugger retires sooner rather than later.

Nothing more obscene than Thad watching over us run up $17+ trillion in debt. This inside-the-beltway slacker needs to be fired.

I dislike the name of the publisher ... Legal Insurrection? Could it be changed? Prefer Illegal Insurrection ... It fits today and congress.

A man from Washington, D.C. is backwoods hunter? Cochran probably won't even touch food that's from anything less than a four star restaurant.

Cochran got at least $250k from Michael Bloomberg. Sounds like he's more city folk than backwoods hunter to me. Cochran must think all guns should be banned, and anyone owning a gun should be executed.

I believe he said that he grew up in the rural areas of Mississippi. That’s when he said he did indecent things with animals. That would have been long before Washington entered into his career.

Pitiful response to the manifest deterioration of Cochran’s mind, memory and tact.

Destruction of our country, way of life and future is as indecent as it gets.

The problem is Cochran claims he doesn’t remember saying the info about animals.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3167475/posts

When asked by a local television reporter to respond to his bizarre comments about unsavory
acts he said he committed with animals as a child, Cochran said he doesn’t remember.

“I think maybe I was misunderstood,” Cochran said. “I don’t remember ever saying [that].”

Thad, you remember exactly what you did to those frazzled animals, don’t you?

Looks like the Democrats are dusting off the tired old “GOP War on Women” again.

Wait, you mean to tell me that Thad Cochran, Karl Rove, and Haley Barbour are REPUBLICANS? Then what the hell are these clowns doing? Once again, they are only hurting the party. It’s time for Cochran to be put out to pasture. Just warn the cows first.
